i dont really want a tatoo cos im scared of needles but it would be really cool to have MEs signature on me somewhere Needles are very scary. They hurt. My first tattoo hurt very much. If I was to ever get this Michael tattoo, I'll just pretend that Ben is standing at the end of the table watching me be jabbed (just like he did Sawyer in EMFH)

Wonder if Ben would like watching something like that. Me being branded over him and all. His named carved forever in my skin...
May have just found myself a new idea for a fan fic. *winks*

I have 3 tattoo's with number 4 planned for next year. I would only add that I was 38 before I had my first one so I knew the types of things I liked and didn't like which is important because a tattoo is a long term committment ;D Also, personally I would never get a name done - I would go for a symbol or something that reminded me of a person. But that's just my own perspective. Each to their own and I love the body art aspect of it all.
As for the needle aspect, I found the tattoo process a bit uncomfortable at times, more like a burning sensation than a needle sensation. I'd rather a tattoo than a dentist needle any old day! The completion of the outline was always a relief. But, like I said I have 3 so the pain can't be that bad.

I have always thought about getting another tattoo. Something like a ring around my toe or a vine wrapping around my ankle going down my foot. I don't want anything that cannot be hidden if I want it to be. I probably would never get a person that I was dating's name on me because we could break up obviously. But Michael's name would be fine because I'm not dating him (as much as I would like to be) and it just shows my appreciation toward him and his acting ability (not to mention my huge obsession with him) My step father has my mother's name tattooed on his heart with a dove below it. It's sweet, but that's forever. Hopefully they'll be together forever. Shows just how far one will go to show their love. As for the pain, mine hurt cause of where it's at. And it bled, but it wasn't so bad that I would never do it again. I just have no idea where I would get Michael's name or initials tattooed on me.

Tattoos! ^^ I know I am getting a few. Another one I want is a tattoo in a cool font saying "Love Never Dies"..."Amor Est Eternus" (Love is forever). I am trying to design one, because those are my favorite quotes.

Oooo, that will be pretty!
I have to say, they are addicting.
I have four now and I want to get one more. An owl with an open book to signify when I get my Master's in Library Science. It's also a homage to Labyrinth, the best movie of all time. lol
As I have gotten a real job now I have started to get them in places where they can't be seen easily and are easily covered up by clothes. It's annoying to have to wear a big watch every day to cover up the one on my wrist!
Anyone else have any tattoos? Show em' off! ;D

...when it's your dad's birthday, and you feel so ashamed that you did nothing on the magnitude that that red-haired girl and her brother did for Michael's tv character, even NOT on his birthday. (Right? It wasn't the lying dude's birthday?)

When your co-workers know who "Michael Emerson" is by looking at your purse (and only from your purse)
I was really surprised when Jules (co-worker) was like, "How's Michael today?" talking about my purse. Then we (and other co-workers) began a whole conversation about what I would do if he checked into the resort that I work at.
But that conversation is for a different place. *smiles*
