Okay, I'm positive he doesn't do musicals, but Michael would be an excellent Mark in Rent. Mark is a very cute filmmaker. Here's a picture of Mark from the movie version.

Last night, I stayed up reading "Little Green Men", by Christopher Buckley. I totally recommend it. Michael would be absolutely perfect in the leading role, John Oliver Banion, a Princeton-educated talk show host in Washington, D.C. who claims to be abducted by aliens. Even better, IMDB claims a movie is in the works, but there are no casting details. I'm going to send Michael a copy for his birthday, and inform him there is a movie being made. who knows, maybe he'll get the role!

Michael in a Tim Burton movie would be really nice And the Phantom - idea is very cool. But not the ALW musical. I would like to see him as Erik in the filversion of Susan Kays wonderful book 'Phantom' - the biography of Erik. It would be such a perfect role for Michael. and I would love to see him in a decent Lovecraft stpry. Most movies based on Lovecrafts work are real crap, but in a good version of one of Lovecrafts brillant stories, Michael would be perfect. I was thinking about The case of Charles Dexter Ward, At the mountains of madness, Call of Cthulhu ...

I would love to see Michael and Carrie do some more acting together in something more mainstream, ala John and Joan Cusack.
Speaking of John Cusack, I'd love for Michael to do something High Fidelity-like after LOST.

Let's see...in Michael's version of High Fidelity, he'd be a forty-something nerd with an unsatisfying love life who owns a book store.

Have you seen the telly show "Black Books?" Michael could totally play the character that owns the bookshop. Or his insane friend.

I think Michael would be better as Bernard. They should totally Americanize it ala The Office and cast Michael!

LOL - that 's awesome!! Dylan Moran actually reminds me quite a bit of John Cusack. I think that's why I was drawn to him in the first place.
You're welcome! ;D

I'm all for Michael playing the riddler. If Johnny Depp gets the role in Nolan's third batman flick I will be angry.
