i've been thinking of another project too for either xmas or next bday. we send him msgs on video. LOL would be so sweet. like for example you make your clip, just sayin hi or whatever u wanna say, on your camcorders/digtal cameras/moblie phones. whatever. then im up for editing it too one big thing, then we can send it to him on a disc?  ? would be more cool if we did in a way it's invovled in programs hes done or something. (if its not to creepy or freak him out?) Like for example. In Lost in shape of things to come, when hes in the hotel and he just about to go up the stairs to his room, but he heres the news of sayid. I could manip it so it was someones msg. Like "Hey michael. Blah Blah Blah....." and he looks around ROFL. i know some people our shy and you don't have to do it if you don't wanna. Because there are other ways to do things too. what do you guys think? good idea? or a really stupid naff idea? Sophie, you're a genius. I love the idea of one big vid! Of course, deciding on what to wear in that vid will be difficult...I'll wear my "So i guess I'm out of the book club" t-shirt. |

i think the more creative the better the video could be. and even if you didn't want to talk you could wave or something LOL and put the members name underneath

i'd be happy to work on the calendar bit, if there's interest. I thinking, everybody who want their art on it could do something submit on a hi-res jpeg, and then put it on the calendar. Because there might be lots of entries, people need to think not so big.
I would also work on something along the lines of a slide show avatars & banners that I'm particularly pleased with. and submit that for the vid. If that' works out with what's being planned along those lines.

well if anyone is up for the video, i need to have a think how its gonna work. whether we do a seperate little message each? Or have someone say one word each to make a message? Ms Practicality shows up on Monday (Doesn't she always?) I'm not going to weigh in much on the video part because I don't do a lot of them and I'm no expert, my only thought would be that it should be under 3 min. But i'll leave that to the video wizards.
On the calendar part. I can envision a one--age thing maybe 11x14, with fan art (avatars, banners, mini-versions of desktops) that would be placed about the borders and in the margins between the months. We could also do a 12 month one , each page containing about 4 to 6 items of art, more, depending on how many want to contribute.
Any thoughts. From my experience here, the 12-page one would be easier to do, but I'm game for the one-sheet version.
