I'm Charlie. Here's a couple of classic ones. First off... you may be comfortable putting your picture online, but how about... YOUR I.Q.? ;D Tickle has a good version: web.tickle.com/tests/uiq/index-pop.jsp?sid=&supp=&z=Mine (according to this ) is 126. (Levels of intelligence, as I understand it: 100 is average, 130 is gifted, 140 is genius, and ~ 160 up is profoundly gifted.) Your Intellectual Type is: You are gifted with the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. Those skills contribute to your creative and expressive mind. Insightful linguists can take complex concepts and articulate them to just about anyone. You have a gift with words and insight into processes and the way people think. These talents enable you to explain things clearly to people." As always, it's the math that kills me.
More telling, perhaps, is the Kiersey-Meyers Briggs Personality Test - the most standard personality test I believe there is. www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.aspI'm an INFJ (Introverted-Intuitive-Feeling-Judging), a " Counselor Idealist." "INFJs are distinguished by both their complexity of character and the unusual range and depth of their talents. ... The small number of this type (little more than 2 percent) is regrettable, since Counselors have an unusually strong desire to contribute to the welfare of others and genuinely enjoy helping their companions. ... This type has great depth of personality; they are themselves complicated, and can understand and deal with complex issues and people.
Counselors can be hard to get to know. They have an unusually rich inner life, but they are reserved and tend not to share their reactions except with those they trust. With their loved ones, certainly, Counselors are not reluctant to express their feelings, their face lighting up with the positive emotions, but darkening like a thunderhead with the negative. ...
Counselors have strong empathic abilities and can become aware of another's emotions or intentions -- good or evil -- even before that person is conscious of them.
Usually self-expression comes more easily to INFJs on paper, as they tend to have strong writing skills. Since in addition they often possess a strong personal charisma, INFJs are generally well-suited to the "inspirational" professions such as teaching (especially in higher education) and religious leadership. Psychology and counseling are other obvious choices, but overall, INFJs can be exceptionally difficult to pigeonhole by their career paths."Sounds 'bout right to me. ;D Oh, and by the way... if you're a guy who got INTJ on this - you and I would be good companions, apparently. Wonder what Michael is.

I'ma big sacka' dumb. :B Pez... you're above average!! And the test calls you "highly intelligent" by definition of your type. (plus, there's controversy about how accurate these things are anyway, so take it only as seriously as you like ) Edith, are you referring to their "pay this and we'll give you the FULL REPORT!" part, or that you've seen it pop up as a web ad? You should take the Meyers-Briggs, though. That's a sanctioned test in psychology. I've taken it before as part of an introductory college psychology course. And it's more interesting, relevant, and far less flawed, I think, than an "IQ" test.

I'm literally scared of math too. Ye aren't alone there. I was never very quick with numbers, but school really messed me up. I think the number scores are useless, and although the summaries for the intellectual types are ridiculously inflated, at least they tend to have a basis in reality. I's a Word Warrior. "Your Intellectual Type is Word Warrior. This means you have exceptional verbal skills. You can easily make sense of complex issues and take an unusually creative approach to solving problems. Your strengths also make you a visionary. Even without trying you're able to come up with lots of new and creative ideas." My type is INTJ, Introverted Intuitive Thinking Judging. The "Mastermind Rational". Too bad I have two X chromosomes, huh, henryrocks? keirsey.com/personality/ntij.htmltypelogic.com/intj.html

I'm literally scared of math too. Ye aren't alone there. I was never very quick with numbers, but school really messed me up. No kidding. In early grade school I was taught to add and subtract by counting dots placed on each number, and by counting fingers. I still do both (and cannot do otherwise).

Why is it I always doubt my intelligence when taking IQ tests? I guess that it the point, but w/e Here is what I got: Your IQ score is 120 Your Intellectual Type is Insightful Linguist. This means you are highly intelligent and have the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. Those skills contribute to your creative and expressive mind. And that's just some of what we know about you from your test results. I am a creative/writer type...who knew? As for the other one, well let's just say it is downright creepy how on the nail it was. ISTJ-Inspector Guardian Inspector Guardians look carefully and thoroughly at the people and institutions around them. Making up perhaps as much as ten percent of the general population, Inspectors are characterized by decisiveness in practical affairs, are the guardians of institutions, and if only one adjective could be selected, "superdependable" would best describe them. Whether at home or at work, Inspectors are nothing if not dependable, particularly when it comes to examining the people and products they are responsible for-quietly seeing to it that uniform quality is maintained, and that those around them uphold certain standards of attitude and conduct. These quiet, no-nonsense Guardians have a distaste for and distrust of fanciness in speech, dress, and living space. Their words tend to be simple and down-to-earth, not showy or high-flown; their clothes are often homespun and conservative rather than of the latest fashion; and their home and work environments are usually neat, orderly, and traditional, rather than up-to-date or luxurious. In their choice of personal property (cars, furnishings, jewelry, and so on) price and durability are just as important as comfort or appearance. Classics, antiques, and heirlooms are especially valued, having achieved a certain time-honored status-Inspectors prefer the old-fashioned to the newfangled every time. Even on vacation, Inspectors tend not to be attracted by exotic foods, beverages, or locales. Their thoroughness and orderliness, combined with their interest in legality and standardization, leads Inspectors to a number of occupations that call for the careful administration of goods and services. Inspectors feel right at home with difficult, detailed forms and columns of figures, and thus they make excellent bank examiners, auditors, accountants, and tax attorneys. Managing investments in securities is likely to interest this type, particularly investments in municipal bonds and blue-chip securities. Inspectors are not likely to take chances either with their own or others' money, and the thought of a bankrupt nation, state, institution, or family gives them more than a little uneasiness. The idea of dishonoring a contract also bothers an Inspector -their word is their bond-and they naturally communicate a message of trustworthiness and stability, which can make them successful in business. With their eye for detail, Inspectors make good business men and women, librarians, dentists, optometrists, legal secretaries, and law researchers. High school and college teachers of business administration, home economics, physical education, civics, and history tend to be Inspectors, as do quartermaster officers in the military. I guess it is good I am going to be a librarian, since I have the personality for it!

I took the 1st one and is says: "Congratulations, Chiara! Your IQ score is 140 Your Intellectual Type is Visionary Philosopher. This means you are highly intelligent and have a powerful mix of skills and insight that can be applied in a variety of different ways. Like Plato, your exceptional math and verbal skills make you very adept at explaining things to others — and at anticipating and predicting patterns. And that's just some of what we know about you from your IQ results." I wish they could go tell my teachers LOL
