Savior How would that be offensive? Was it sarcastic?

Trial.
(By the way, have you read 'Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde'? Michael originated the role of Wilde off-Broadway. I've just checked the book out of the library, and it looks very interesting indeed. I am now wondering if he put on an English accent for the role, because let's face it, judging by his work in Neil Gaiman's 'Murder Mysteries', his English accent isn't particularly good. Heh.)

eyewitness Oh no! ;D I have read, possibly heard an interview or two where Michael described first hearing about the role: they were looking for a male in his 30s who could do a British accent. Michael thought, "Well, I can do a pretty credible British accent [no kidding! ]" and went for it. Worked for Moises Kaufman, I guess.

Coliseum. It is on my mental to-do list for tomorrow. I like to think that my voice is most natural in a British accent - this midwesterner stuff just flattens it out. I would know this when I sometimes entertain myself when I'm alone by interviewing 'myself.' And it's just so sophisticated. ;D But I'd be afraid to hear someone who knows it to hear it.

Rome.
My accent at the moment is odd and somewhat off-putting. I can't identify it, but plenty of people have told me I sound British. I find that highly amusing. The thing I notice is that I pronounce individual words with an English accent, but as a sentence, my accent just sounds wrong. I can slip into a Cockney accent very quickly, and that frightens me as I don't want to land myself with a Cockney accent for life... I am being class-conscious, I know... and horribly enough, I can't for the life of me put on an American/Canadian accent, even though I was born on the bloody continent. LoL.
