No, that was the made up one! But my grandmother really DID live in a haunted house, in the old mill town of Lowell, MA, and actually had to have it exorcised! Lots of poltergeist activity there - he/she liked to smash plates and give people chills.

What a valedictorian is? The first one among the classmates? Could you explain me how kind of speech did you say? In front of your classmates or in front all the school? (What a shame!)

that's so cool that you were a valedictorian! Was your speech good? Were you nervous? Yeah I was crazy nervous!! My speech didn't make too much sense, LOL. But it was very cool because our commencement was in Peterborough Cathedral in England - I got to speak from this medieval pulpit that was only a few feet away from the grave of Queen Katherine of Aragon. A HUGE thrill for a historian like me!! ;D ;D ;D What a valedictorian is? The first one among the classmates? Could you explain me how kind of speech did you say? In front of your classmates or in front all the school? (What a shame!) Yep, it means first in the class. Although my class only had 24 people in it, so it wasn't too hard!! The speech was in front of the entire class, and all the faculty and guests attending the graduation. It was sort of terrifying. My speech was based on a Beatles song - "In My Life."

And Michael the firefighters boss...I would say "come in, Mr. Firefighter, I'm a little sick...I can't breath...could you help me? Yes, yes, I have taken my T-shirt...could you make me the mouth-to-mouth ressucitation?" Ha,ha,ha...:-)
