It's a musical movie, released last year, made after Beatles song. A love story tainted by the Vietnam war as a backstory. It's kind of cool. I enjoyed it, altough I guess it could have been a bit shorter... there is a cameo by Bono in it, so if you like U2, here's another piece. IMDB link: www.imdb.com/title/tt0445922/

I just want to hijack this thread and say that the Beatles are my favorite band of all-time. With Macca being my favorite. So I'm jealous ... but I did get to see him 4 times live too, 3 times in Boston and once in Toronto, and that would certainly be part of my greatest hits :-)... especially the first time I saw him, about 7th row center on the floor. I had spent an insane amount of money on this ticket and on the trip but it was well worth it :-). I loved to see Ringo Starr and his all-star band too in Montreal a couple of years ago. Talking about the Beatles, I just got home a few minutes ago, I was watching "Across the universe" with some friends. A must for Beatles fans, just so you know. Raksha, I never miss Macca when he comes to Boston - I've even seen him twice on the same tour!! ;D I'll be on the lookout for you at the next show! I haven't seen 'Across the Universe Yet' - I never get around to renting movies, and missed it in the theaters. But I really want to!! *adding it to my enormous movie remembrall*

In fact, first time was in Boston for the two nights of the "Back in the US" tour in 2002, and then, went to boston for the "US" tour that was in 2005 but I just made one of the Boston shows this time around... then a few days later drove to Toronto and that was the next stop or so of the "US" tour. So, twice each tour. I'm not sure if I'm going to see him again... in fact I doubt he will tour again, not soon enough anyway with all the crap around the divorce he's having... poor guy.

I cry like a baby every time he sings 'Hey Jude' and the entire stadium is singing along with him...it's just so MAGICAL and LOVELY!! He is the only performer that I will willingly plunge into credit card debt to see (except for maybe my newest telly boyfriend, David Cook)!!
