For some, his role on Lost is a dream come true ( Alyssa  ). If you could choose any shows, past or present, that you would like to see Michael on, what would they be? Being a big fan of Monk, I think Michael would be perfect on that. As we all know, Michael has excellent line delivery skills when it comes to humor, and that's part of what makes great guest character on Monk, I think, regardless of what kind of part they're playing. Then there's Criminal Minds, which is a favorite show of mine, although it runs opposite Lost. It involves FBI profilers solving serious crimes, getting inside the head of the offender, which is something we all enjoy doing with Michael's eviler characters. Good thread. Being a pretty big fan I was extremely pleased when he appeared on Lost. Hmm I don't know what shows. Maybe Will & Grace before it goes off the air. That would be a change role wise. I'm drawing up a blank because I don't watch too many shows in which he could appear on. |

Hhahaha. I would love to see him on Monk too, he would make the perfect creepy bad guy for that show. I would also like to see him as a contestant on any game show. It would be nice to see him on tv, but not acting.
But in all honesty I would love to see him in ANY show. I don't care what it is, I'd watch it if he was in it.

I would love to see Michael Emerson in a comedy or a love story. He usually plays the bad guy or a weirdo. I think it would be nice to see a brighter side of him. But I agree, any show with him in it works for me!

Well I have a stupid idea, but I'll say it anyway. Bwaha!  If anyone is familiar with the old "Tales from the crypt" comic books from back in the day... There was this one story called "'Taint the Meat, It's the Humanity" I was reading it again and I realized that the character "Zach Gristle" reminds me of Michael alot! He'd be great as him.  I wish they would bring back the old "Tales from the crypt" show and do that. I'm just dreamin'. Heheh.  , but yeah seeing him in anything is cool. |

They need to revive Tales from the Crypt! back when I watched TV on a regular basis that was a favourite I would love to see him on one of the Law and Orders again, this time guest-starring as maybe another Detective. Just because it would be completely different from what I've seen of him so far. That would rock |

Ooh, I thought of another one. I would love to see Mr. Emerson on "The Twilight Zone." Not the new one, the original one from the 60's. I realize that we're a few decades late to see this, but that's okay. . . I can dream. It would be awesome to hear him do the intro for the show!

I think he'd be fantastic on "24." You know they'd typecast him as a terrorist, but I'd love to see him as one of the dorky computer analysts--who could pull off a snarkfest with Chloe better than Michael could?
And y'know, now that Edgar's singing with the heavenly choir, Chloe will be needing a new ambiguous love interest...

I had this dream, where Michael was guest starring a British show called Heartbeat. He was driving a taxi.  Anyway, I'm happy as long as he is on tv, doesn't matter what show. But now when I'm thinking - I'd love him on The Simpsons, I can imagine him as a yellow cartoon character. |

Well, I´d like him on any show too - 24 would be great (although I´d hate to see him get killed by Jack Bauer - hey, how to decide then if I keep on watching or if I´d stop...). What I´d really love Michael to do are some more audio books - perhaps something like the Lemony Snicket Books or anything else. I usually listen to audio books when driving to work - and that would really make the day perfect. |
