Weren't people debating once whether he had contacts that were showing in his eyes in that picture, or one just like it?

The lighting, as well as Michael himself, really contributes to the look of these kinda pictures. The look of the hallway they were in really made Michael look more pale, and that picture of him standing up in "The Brig" that's made so many people drool was certainly helped by a nighttime setting and whatever light was in the scene. So the people behind the scenes should get some credit for framing and shooting Michael, and the scenery around him, in ways that make him look that striking.

Whoa... this look could eat you alive: His eyes, his eyes! *chills all over* This man could play Satan if he wanted to. Oh yeah, his eyes, the way he looks at ladies in that moment with this ironical smile on his face telling "whatever you do I win anyway"...mrrrrrrr, I think I need to watch that episode again ;D

According to LOST Magazine, Michael has his own scars around his lips. The make-up people made the scars disappear for his initial scenes as Henry Gale, and then accentuated them when Sayid beat him up. Now as Ben Linus, his natural scars are showing. Did anybody notice them? I wonder how he (Michael) got those scars, and are those scars related to his crooked lips?

I've been wondering about those scars too. Of all the things I'd like to know about Michael how he got those scars is the main one - maybe I'm just nosey!
I've noticed he's also got a scar above his right eye - it looks like the kind of scar a lot of people who had their eyebrows pierced end up with if they let the piercing heal up - somehow I can't imagine Michael ever having had his eyebrow pierced......

Neither do I, but I'm also curious about the scars, and about his nose, which looks as if it might have been broken once upon a time...

I'm blind, I never noticed those scars *red face* now I'm also very curious from where did he get this scars. I've noticed he's also got a scar above his right eye - it looks like the kind of scar a lot of people who had their eyebrows pierced end up with if they let the piercing heal up - somehow I can't imagine Michael ever having had his eyebrow pierced...... Or it may just be from the cut on his eyebrow during some accident - not neceserily serious one. I have a scar on my eyebrow from the cut when I was a child.
