I wrote in this in response to a particular thread but it is now locked preventing me from replying. Hence new thread.
I felt very uncomfortable about the direction a certain thread was taking. I think it might be a good idea to leave Michael's private life out of our discussions here. I really think it is something that should be off limits by personal choice. I know if I were in his place I would not want people speculating about my past marriage or my present life with my spouse. That is private and not ours anyone else’s business.
I would hate to see this board become a place to gossip about Michael. It is the first ME fan board to be established that I know of and I would like to think of it as a place where invasions into Michael’s private life were not tolerated. That Michael’s fans here would want to protect him from personal gossip not engage in it or make this board a forum for it. So lust after Ben or lust after Michael all you want but please let's not try to dig up dirt on the guy, his exwife, brother or his sister. They should all be off limits.
No one wants to be the subject of stranger’s gossip. None of us would want strangers starting an internet board where our most private lives were discussed and past relationships dug up. Let’s show Michael the same respect we would like others to show us. Let’s make Michael’s family proud of this place and of us.
