I can't believe he'll be on that show; The women there talk a lot and interrupt their guests. I'm afraid they won't let him talk much at all. A distinct possibility. There's also the possibility that our dear Mr. Emerson is possessed of some very clever interpersonal skills to get people to shut up. He does have those eyes. Those are his biggest weapon — well, I don't mean, er, um you know what I mean, ahem. He could prolly get that Elizabeth person to zip by giving her the creep out stare. LOL! I think Whoopi and Barbara will be class acts about it. But there really is little you can do about the clueless. I go now to the naughty corner.

I don't watch this show much, but what I have seen of it they all just talk to much to fast for me. So I do hope that Michael's stare works on them. I think that ME is very brave for going on this show. They have been known to ask things they shouldn't!

I think this may be his most high profile talk show apperance ever- the only late night show I recall him being on was Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2006, and he's otherwise been on local talk/news shows.

Maybe it's the New Yorker in me. I don't mind fast talkers. LOL Whoppi is a LOST-a-holic. She will know to ask the right questions. Barbara Walters is a great interviewer. And, besides, she may or may not be there, since she is on the View a few days a week. Elizabeth Hasselbeck is a ditz. But she knows when to keep quiet. She only speaks out loudly when the topic is about children or being a republican. Sherry Shephard is a ditz, too. But she is funny and keeps quiet when she doesn't know the topic. And Joy Behar... well, she is my favorite. She is a typical New Yorker. Michael will know how to handle her.

Yeah, I thought if he was forewarned, maybe by his brother, he'd be able to think of what to do, like when the interviewer on "Red Eye" told him to explain 'Lost' "as if he were a stupid child" (something insulting towards kids ) and he did the opposite! ;D I am sure that Michael can handle them. They are typical New Yorkers.

I emailed the show, mentioning that his fans (I mentioned the board ;D It's so cool...It feels like being a part of an important organization) would love to hear the pidgin accent he performed for the Hawaiian charity event; I'd be so cool if they asked him and he did it! On Valentine's day, too! Question: What about all of us writing the show?? Just a thought??

Is there any chance someone can record the interview for those who won't get a chance to see it You know that I will. I am even staying home to make sure nothing goes wrong (unless the electricity goes off).

Is there any chance someone can record the interview for those who won't get a chance to see it I bless the day I got DVR. I don't think writing "Must stay home to see Creepy Ben on talk show." would fly on my request from duty form. lol Edith, you're lucky you get to stay home and see it first hand!
