K, I think this puts me into the category of slipping into total fandom, but I found the "Legends II" audiobook on iTunes and downloaded it, mostly because Michael Emerson is reading a novella of "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman (another one of my favorite writers/graphic novelists). Mind you, it's not the full novel, sounds like a novella Gaiman wrote on request. The recording also has stories by Orson Scott Card (another great writer for different reasons).
ME's reading is a hoot. I love listening to his voice, it has such a melodic tone. But I was a bit alarmed to hear his version of a thick Scottish accent. I'm sure it's not a perfect version, but I can accept it. It's certainly better than his English accent in "Murder Mysteries," which isn't bad but I found myself just wishing to his plain ol' Midwestern voice (being a Midwesterner myself).
Who knew! Not me obviously.

well, i purchased this through iTunes, so to post it would violate copyright laws to post it. My apologies. I'm a believer in staying within the boundaries of the law, not just because it's right but out of a respect to the artists (Mssrs. Card, Gaiman et al)
But I'm guessing it's available at Amazon.com. It's certainly available at iTunes ($16)

Thanks for posting this. One audiobook more that I can put on my 'to order' list. (Shame on me, but until I registered here I had no idea that Michael Emerson also read for some audiobooks ) So I'll hope that some of them are also available at the book store we got here.

He is a fabulous reader - just expressive enough, but never overacts either. I have several of his audiobooks, and they are all terrific! Off to itunes right now to get this one...
