 Hi!!! Some of you know what happens with his glasses? On TV he normally don't have it, but in the radio (and in some pictures) he has round glasses. He's short-sighted? (like me?)

My guess is he's always been nearsighted but at his age he's also got presbyopia to some degree. His glasses, and possibly his contacts, are progressive focus. His contacts might monovision. Mine are and it's works beautifully.

I wear glasses too and I like it very much. And he's very interesting with it. But I think that in the island, with the humidity and high temperature, wear glasses don't be very comfortable, better contacts (but with the sun...problems too). It's a little weird that he never wear sunglasses. I will like to see him with it...

The glasses I've seen him wear in public appearances suggest severe nearedsightedness — the classic thick coke-bottle glasses in which the eyes look smaller than they are. FTR, glasses for farsightedness almost always make the eyes look bigger. I notice these details because as an almost lifelong wearer (and hater) of glasses, I'm sensitive to the issue (hides her pairs of coke-bottle glasses).
The lenses of my glasses I wore in college were well over a 1/4- to 3/8-inch thick, and extended far beyond the frames, which I got with with thick rims to hide the thick lenses. They were so heavy I had deep dents in my nose. My glasses today are as narrow as my thin wire-rim frames — about 1/16 inch — but my eyes are much worse than they were in college. THANK GOD for high-index lenses.
On some people, glasses make them look dopey (raises hand). But I think they just make Michael look cuter.

I think they make him look more approachable, too. Maybe they give him an air of vulnerability?
