THe birdie was Patrick Emerson. I think that we can rest that he knows that Kyme has nothing to do with Michael. Aside from some private chat about my new granddaughter, he told me this: "No "Kyme"s in Michael's life in any way." Who is Patrick Emerson - Michael's brother? Do you know him personally? Intriguing!!  Patrick is Michael's younger brother. He does come and read our posts, btw. No, I don't know him personally. However, he and I have corresponded with each other numerous times via e-mail, as well as pm on this board. Before I started the website, I asked Patrick to make sure that it is not offensive to his family. The last thing I ever want to do is to offend Michael and any member of his family. BTW, Patrick is as nice as Michael. His parents raised very nice people. I have not had the pleasure of meeting their sister. However, I am sure that she is also a very nice person. |

They may not have done it on purpose. There are Kymes in the acting world...it's possible it was just a mistake, like if someone was editing more than one bio at the same time and got info mixed up.  |

A bit of fun trivia: Michael was offered a role in "Armageddon" and a lot of money, but he turned down the offer to continue playing his role in "Oscar Wilde."  That is fun trivia! So is there being nobody named Kyme in the Emerson family tree!  |

They may not have done it on purpose. There are Kymes in the acting world...it's possible it was just a mistake, like if someone was editing more than one bio at the same time and got info mixed up. Doesn't even have to be an actor. If I had a nickel for every time my name has been misprounced or mispelled I could retire. I have been a high school student, an insurance broker, a gay man, dead and godknows what else, because people can't get my name straight. |

Yeah, you know someone does a search and bunch of Michael Emersons come up including one that has a Kyme tacked on the end and the person assumes the search engine knows what it is talking about and reports that he is sometimes credited as with that name. |
