I like the story, but if they keep on making them then people will get bored coz they kind of know whats going to happen. theres gonna come a time when the story is gonna go past its use by date and then go mouldy if you get what i mean. *hugs for bunny lover* ;D god, i love this board!

Well, I think that kinda happens with every sequel, don't you? People know what to expect. But the great thing about SAW is that you know there is going to be a twist, but you don't know what. And to me, that is what makes it so fun to watch.
You know that there is going to be that "Zep Hindle" twist at the end of every saw movie. It's guaranteed. And I love that.
But they know exactly how they are going to end the SAW movies right now. That is why they have planned on making 6 films. They are telling a story. That story will end with the next two movies. And I really cannot wait to see how.

I thought Saw 4 was really bad. The twist was very predictable and stupid(probably because it was predictable). I didnt like Saw 3 either so this is just total crap to me. And why did they put the 2 worst characters from Saw 2 in the film?

I didn't care for saw 3. I loved saw 4. I thought it felt more like the saw series (especially the original Saw) I enjoyed the characters. I liked the twist. And I cannot wait for Saw 5.
I think you either hate it or you love it.
I loved it.

Saw 4 made me laugh. It was the only one in the series I went to see in the cinema. The amount of funny looks when I suddenly bursst out laughing at all the gore and grossness. Half the time it wasn't me laughing at what was going on in the film - it was me watching my flatmates who accompanied me to go see it - one of them hates watching throats get slit - haha which happens in every film, and then the other hates anything that happens to eyes. Which again happens in every film.
Saw was of course the best - was sad that Zep got killed off - he would have made a brilliant returning character with his 'it's the rules!' thing. I loved Saw 2 best (or second best to Saw) but the other two, Saw 3 and 4 were enjoyable. Role on Saw 5! Ha. Although Saw 4 sucked a bit as in it didn't really follow the ending of Saw 3 - what happened to the little girl?!?!?!?! That was my main disappointment, but I did enjoy learning more about John and how he came to be.

It followed saw 3. We just haven't found everything out yet.
Umm, did you see the scene where detective Hoffman was holding the teddy bear in SAW 4 and was asked if that was for his child by detective Strahm in the police station? He denied having children.....I am assuming that he knows where the little girl from SAW 3 is at and that teddy bear was for her. (It only makes sense)
That is what is so great about these movies....there are clues everywhere. And that is why SAW 5 will be so important. We'll most likely find out what happened to that little girl.

I watched the first three Saw movies, because I liked the story, but Saw 3 was way too gory for me and so I am afraid to watch Saw 4 - on the other hand there is Tobin in it, so I will end up seeing that movie after all

That was great. What an interesting concept - John Kramer on the Island. Why has no one ever thought to write a Saw/Lost-Crossover?
