The Magnetic Fields! Radiohead! Bob Dylan! The Beatles! Bach! (Though I still don't like him as much as I should... I don't enjoy playing his songs as much as I enjoy playing Beethoven, but that's just me...) Michael has great taste in music.

I agree, he does have pretty great taste in music.
I hadn't heard of the Magnetic Fields before so I typed them into iTunes and "The Book of Love" is the first thing that came up.
When I heard, "But I love it when you read to me, you can read me anything." I just about melted. My new favorite line in a song.
Plus, they sound similar to ZikZak which is one of my favorite bands.

I'd never heard of the Magnetic Fields; I think I might've heard Radiohead mentioned once or twice before, but I hadn't listened to their songs.
I like "The Book of Love," "How F- Romantic," "A Wolf At The Door," and "We Suck Young Blood," so far.

My favorite Magnetic Fields song ever is "Nothing Matters when We're Dancing." It's so sweet and romantic...and now I can imagine I'm dancing with Michael when I hear it! holy cow that sounds cheesy!! Sorry.

"The Magnetic Fields" must be breaking through. They were featured about a month ago on NPR's "Fresh Air." The bulk of the podcast was about Tom Petty but the past 5 minutes or so were tMFs. If I don't watch it, I may actually get some grip on the music scene. (I'm still pretty clueless.)
