Hello!!! I'm living in Barcelona, in the North East of Spain (Catalonia) and I speak Catalan, a different language (I'm bilingual Catalan-Spanish). Here we have a very famous rock group very representative of our culture. The name is "Companyia Elèctrica Dharma" (Dharma Electrical Company). This group is very old, about 30 years!!! nothing in common with Lost. But the name is very funny, isn't it? www.ladharma.com/This webpage has an English version.

Dharma was a big term about 30 years ago among folks into the counterculture-alt lifestyle movement. That's why it cracks me up that it's showing up in "Lost," which strikes me as about 180 degrees from all that was going on back then.
Welcome, Silvia. Were you one of the lucky ones who got to meet Michael when he and Carrie were in Barcelona last spring/summer?

Hello, Last spring/summer Woody Allen was shooting his movie "Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona" in my city, but I didn't know that Carrie (and Michael) was here !!! I think that Woody was fed up with people because everybody was looking him all the time, chasing the actors (especially Javier Bardem, Penélope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson), taking pictures, and the shooting was very stressful. I think he needs more calm. My city love Woody!!! And this is a problem for him...I knew his hotel, but I don't know if all casting was there with him. I would like the opinion of Michael and his wife and if they keep good souvenirs about my city or it was a nightmare, ha,ha,ha. Perhaps one day they will return on holidays to enjoy Barcelona without hurry (and Woody too!!!). Sorry for my English, I do my best.

no way! i so didnt know Dharma was an actual real thing, i thought it was created for Lost. well this intrigued me and so i researched! (ok so wikipedia is as far as i got this is what i found - The Sanskrit term Dharma (help·info) (Devanâgarî: धर्म) (Pali: Dhamma) signifies the underlying order in nature and life (human or other) considered to be in accord with that order. The word dharma is generally translated into English as 'law' and literally translates as 'that which upholds or supports' (from the root 'Dhr' - to hold), here referring to the order which makes the cosmos and the harmonious complexity of the natural world possible. As in the West, the concept of natural or divine law, has, throughout the history of Indian civilization, governed ideas about the proper conduct of living. The symbol of the dharma - the wheel - is the central motif in the national flag of India. wow thats cool! Namaste
