Michael did: Hamlet, (played Hamlet), Players by the Sea www.jacksonville.com/tu-online/stories/061299/nes_b2letter.html;D I would love to do a swordfight! I'm used to accidentely banging my fingers with the aluminum pole or it hitting me in the head. He was in noises off? OMG, that is such a funny play. I wonder which character he played. You could ask him in the letter! You know that I will. I love that play.

I can't believe I forgot this one; Jay or Jack, who worked with Michael in Jacksonville, mentioned working on "Les Liaisons dangereuses" on the Comic New Insider Podcast (the 2nd one, I think; If not, the 3rd) I think it's the one where they talked about working as a technician on the set and Michael was directing the play and needed someone to play a pirate and cast him and joked that he thought, "Yo ho." Bones saw it, too. I just posed where I first saw Mike in my introductory post...all the film and tv roles surprised me...strange...to see an actor and think...hey i've seen him before... first saw Mike on stage back in Jax in the 90s...in Les Liaisons dangereuses. He was brilliant! www.theatrejax.com/Since it's the first play listed for that season, I'm guessing it was done in 1992.

My library finally found it, just when I'd given up hope and was about to watch the DVD, instead...I really did see a boy walking along the sidewalk with his pants around his legs and saw his underwear. I couldn't believe it and couldn't help chuckling; I found it even funnier when he turned, saw me, and a few seconds later, now had his pants up to his waist! ;D It's not Jay or Jack, it's Jimmy. Jimmy Aquino. I am not sure whether he got paid for those performances. Hence, beleive it or not, they may not count as Professional Accomplisment.

Oh, okay; I've been confused on what should be added and what shouldn't. Even though it wasn't a professional accomplishment, I do like knowing what plays Michael did and learning about his "road to fame." I thought it might be insulting to not acknowledge all of his work.

Oh, continue with it. I will add it as his community acting days.

I suppose it comes down to his Equity and non-Equity (or pre-Equity?) work.

Ian Mairs wrote a specific monologue for his character, Tommy, near the end of "Parts Unknown," that I wondered whether it was from his own life. I felt so sorry.

As I understand it this was the guy who encourage Michael not to give up and to further his ed as one way of breaking in. Best advice ever given, I'd say. But then it had to have been so obvious how talented Michael was, that he wasn't going to just let the guy walk away from it.

Yes, that's him. It's a speech about how his character's father was a drunk, how he beat him up after finding a magazine that revealed Tommy's sexual identity because he hated him and himself and Tommy feels hurt and angry about all of this, saying his father was a child, a dog. I'd read a Jacksonville article that said that he wrote all of his plays based on his own life, growing up in Northern Florida, and I felt sad, imagining that these things (or most of them) actually happened to him. He seems like a funny, nice guy, according to the article I read, joking around with his cast. Michael has good friends! sanfrancisco.bizjournals.com/jacksonville/stories/1996/09/16/tidbits.html?page=2sanfrancisco.bizjournals.com/jacksonville/stories/1996/09/16/tidbits.html?page=3
