I found this blog of a woman who was an extra on the filming of Episode 9. Michael gets a mention - and although there are no major spoilers or anything, if you don't want to know anything about the setting or possibilities in this episode, then don't read on. www.thefarmerfiles.com/2008/03/end-of-lost-saga.html

Wow, it looks like Ben is either going to get shot or hurt somehow since they brought him a blood stained jacket. I can't wait to see him running through a market place though!

That is really a great account of work on the set. I loved all the details about the meetings and the meals and how her work affects her personal life. And Michael does sound like a very nice person. I know now why I don't work in that field. Those workdays are grueling. I'd be whining about contract violations. LOL BTW, Kim, I was in the Apple store yesterday. What a madhouse. I was reminded why I don't go to the MOA much. But I love my new iPod iTouch.

She does link to the flicker slide page show, which is you have the patience you will see some cast shots, some of which we saw on Dark UFO other are additional ones from the same setting: www.flickr.com/photos/hawaii/sets/72157604138348743/show/Anyway the settings are extraordinary. The person who works on them deserves an award. I wonder how much of it gets shipped in from the mainland and how much of it has to be found on the island. Hawaii is very diverse, or that's my understanding, so they can prolly find it all on the island.

He lives in Hawaii and is the best photographer of anything LOST I have ever since. He and his wife have a great podcast called The Transmission. Here's more info on him: www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Ryan_Ozawa

But that slide show is the most exhaustive I've seen yet from the set. The Flickr site also has the pix from the film fest and that theater benefit. It's nice to see those again.

My motto for Apple stores is be there when the doors open - it's the quietest time of the day. Have you watched any TV shows (Lost maybe) on the Touch yet? The quality is brilliant.

I want to get an iPod Touch. How do I hook up the Internet? Do I need to get a provider? I'd love to get the iPhone, but I have a long contract with my cell-phone provider.

The iPod touch works via WIFI - there's no cellular network provider. So if you have WIFI set up at home then you can surf and email on it, and if you are out and about you need to be in a WIFI hotspot to connect to the internet and get your email, etc. No WIFI is needed for iPod or Calendar use. Of course, finding a WIFI hotspot and finding a FREE WIFI hotspot are two different things!

Rats, if I go to a wifi hotspot, I have my computer with me.
