BTW, Kim, I was in the Apple store yesterday. What a madhouse. I was reminded why I don't go to the MOA much. But I love my new iPod iTouch. My motto for Apple stores is be there when the doors open - it's the quietest time of the day. Have you watched any TV shows (Lost maybe) on the Touch yet? The quality is brilliant. Oh-ho-ho ho-ho!, Dude. (as Hurley would say) I had said when I first saw the 5th gen iPods that they had to figure out how to get the video across the whole face of the device. And this is it, and the wifi is great. of course surfing is a bit buggy but I'm guessing they'll get an update out to fix that and I'm getting to using the notes. mail, weather, I think even the stopwatch function will be nice. I can see how TXTing is better, but I'm philosophically opposed to it and I'm outside the legal age for it anyway. But it has the computer beat for spead. Click and slide and you are up and running on the MEFB or Lostpedia or whereever or getting your mail, the weather reports, etc. I can def see using this outside at coffeeshops. Most of the wifi here is town is free.

The one time when my Safari seemed to crash quite a lot, a reset sorted it out. Have you tried that? I'm on holiday next week so it's time to start filling up my iPhone with some more Lost goodies to keep me entertained.

I see on the Apple discussions that this is a known bug and there is a good deal of expectation that a fix will be out soon. I've not reset, but if it keeps up I'll have to try that. I look for many improvements in the near future. I got the first iPod when it came out and when I think of it now compared to what's out now, it makes me laugh. I also still have one of those slender thin Nano (not the new models). Cracks me up how much they're improving on it, so I didn't get one with a lot of memory, cuz a newer better model is sure to be out soon. I have enough to get all of Season 4.
