Hello! I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have just started a new fan fiction with Ben from Lost. It's called "Don't Lie to Me." “You are falling in love with me Stella. And soon, you will be willing to do anything I ask of you.” Ben ensnares an OC while in the Hatch. Will she be able to withstand him, or will she be lost? Set in season 2 when we meet Ben Henry. It is set with Evanescence's "Open Door" CD. The music seems to fit with his character so well. Here is the link if you would like to read! www.fanfiction.net/s/3246675/1/I hope you all like it! Mel

No one must know
It was a new day; just an ordinary day. He woke up, put his clothes on, and went on to work. Work was not far: just across the hall from the bedroom. He felt lucky. He read that in many places people commuted to work. But that’s not how it worked where he lived. Life was quiet and simple.
He was deep in his thoughts when he suddenly realized that it was Wednesday, September 22, 2004, and that it was 4:12 pm. “Strange,” he thought to himself, “there should have been a meeting today.” Once a month on the fourth Wednesday, at 4 pm, the book club held their meeting. “Perhaps,” he said to himself, “because this month has 5 Wednesdays, the book club will meet next week.” Still, he didn’t recall being told of a meeting at all the entire month of September. Unfortunately, he had to beg off the last meeting because he had to make sure that the so-called “bad people” do not reach the village. He had a job, an important job, and Juliet, the love of his life, did not seem to understand that. She often told him that he was harsh, mean, and insensitive.
“She doesn’t know what I know,” he thought to himself. “She doesn’t know that if I don’t squelch dissent, then our utopia will fall apart. Our families worked so hard to keep these scientific studies secret. The world out there is just not ready for what we know.”
Suddenly, there was a rumble. The earth started shaking. “Not again,” he said to himself. This is when his job got ugly. As soon as the earth stopped shaking, he ran outside. So did the neighbors. He heard a sound, a jet sound. He looked up, and he saw an airplane passing through. “**** it,” he thought to himself. “The pilot managed to break through the barrier. How could that be? I guess I’ll have to watch the Swan station a bit closer now. Those DHARMA folks have a knack of not being careful with pushing that button. Rats. One must do everything oneself.”
"Oh my God, the plane broke apart. I must quickly initiate plan B.”
He started barking up:
“Goodwin, did you see where the tail landed? You run and you can make that shore line in an hour.”
“Ethan, get up there to that fuselage. There may actually be survivors; and you're one of them: a passenger, in shock. Come up with an adequate story if they ask. Stay quiet if they don't. Listen, learn, and don’t get involved. I want lists in 3 days. Go.”
Pleased with himself for being able to think so fast, he turned around and saw Juliet. He saw her clutching a book. “Ahah,” he said to himself. “The book club did meet today, after all. Those bastards.” Looking at the book, he saw that the author was Stephen King. How he hated that author. He hated him simply because Juliet liked him. He approached Juliet, glanced at the book, and said, “So I guess I'm out of the book club.” Then, he quickly walked away.
Yes, it was just an ordinary Wednesday, a painful Wednesday. He knew that Juliet masterminded that he should not be part of the book club. There will be h*** to pay. He went into his study and hoped that there were no survivors. He didn’t want to deal with more people on the land. Bad enough he had to make sure that the shield is back on the island.
No one must know of their existence.

Benjamin Linus
She named her baby Benjamin. She didn’t want to give him a Finish first name. They were not in Finland anymore. She identified with the Biblical Rachel, the mother of the original Benjamin. Just like Rachel, Terhi felt that this little boy was the “son of her sorrows.” Just like Benjamin of the Bible, she felt sure that her baby, the first one to be born in the new land, would be the first to start a new tribe.
Terhi was born in Helsinki, Finland. She was an exemplary student, got good grades, and it was logical that she would go on from college to graduate school. It was there that she met the love of her life: Miko Linus. He talked about traveling, exploring other worlds, other lands, other cultures. She bought into his dreams. She vowed to follow him everywhere. And follow him shed did.
Right after their wedding day, she packed her bags and boarded the vessel that would take her and her new husband to the land of her nightmares. She didn’t know what to expect. She didn’t know that two years later she would be burying her husband. She didn’t know that six months after arriving she and Miko would be burying half of the expedition members and witnessing the other half run like the mad people they were into the jungle, never to be seen again.
She held onto the small baby as he slept. He was no longer crying. He had no energy to cry. She herself had no energy to go on. But go on, she must. She had the baby to think about. Now that the father was dead, it was up to her to find sustenance. She wished she never had agreed to come to this Godforsaken island.
She saw the buildings. They were houses. Houses meant civilization. Civilization meant food. She couldn’t believe her eyes. The people who lived there all seemed healthy. She was afraid to approach them. She was afraid, but for the sake of the child she did.
They accepted Benjamin as their own. They nursed her as she contracted the disease. They were there as she drew her last breath. She confidently let go of her life, because she knew that Benjamin would be in good hands. He would be loved, taken care of, and would grow up to be a fine human being. Or would he?

Hello! I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have just started a new fan fiction with Ben from Lost. It's called "Don't Lie to Me." It is set with Evanescence's "Open Door" CD. The music seems to fit with his character so well. Mel You should read my thread in the Lost section on Ben's Song! I said that Evanescence's song "The Only One" was about Ben! Great minds think alike! By the way, I will be writing a fanfic(it will be my 3rd fanfic) about what happens next in the show if I were to write it! Takes place immediately after what we saw, Benry on the operating table and all that... Yeah, it will make my story moot after they do come back in Jan/Feb but I don't care, I have it in my head and well when I get the stories they take a life of their own! I will write it as a one shot/one chapter story and it will be Benry centric and Locke centric! No, not a romance!!!! I'm not into slash! It's gonna have them become best friends and it's gonna be suspenseful! I'll let everyone know when I finish it and I have'nt even started it yet! Ha, ha!
