Here's the second part of my fan fic. Originally, I planned my story to be told in three parts. However, I already started part 3, and I know that it will take more than three parts to tell all that I have inside of me to say. As other fiction writers know, once you get started with your fiction, the stories do take a life of their own. I hope that you enjoy part 2.

Ben rose early in the morning to meet up with Richard. Annie was still fast asleep. He looked at his wife on their conjugal bed. She was beautiful. She looked like an angel, peacefully sleeping, a slight smile on her lips. Ben wanted to kiss her so badly, but he refrained from doing so in fear of waking her up. He didn’t want her to join him. More than likely she would want to come with him to pick up the child. He didn’t want her to know that the child had a living mother.
He closed the bedroom door quietly. Walked to the living room and found his father sleeping off his previous night’s drunken stupor. He looked at his father with disdain. He hated this man who always blamed him for the death of his mother. How was he to know that his mother would die giving birth to him? He didn’t ask to be born. His despicable father forgot that he and his mother were responsible for his life. It was not Ben’s fault that his mother gave birth away from the medical help she needed. Why did his stupid father take her hiking in the woods? It was not he who needed to be blamed for his mother’s death. It was his father who needed to be blamed.
“It doesn’t matter,” Ben said to himself. “One day, my revenge will come. He will be dead with the others. It’s just a matter of time.”
Ben walked out of his house and proceeded to get Tom and Danny, and together they walked to the Hostile’s camp. As everybody was sleeping in his community, their to exit out of their compound was much easier. When they reached the protective pylons, he punched in the password. The pylons were temporarily silenced. They then proceeded to get to the temple, which was their final destination.
Richard was already waiting for them with his entourage. When everyone was together, Richard spoke.
“Here’s what we will do. We will build a large black smoke. This will make the woman interested to check out the smoke. She won’t take the baby with her. She probably will feel that it might be dangerous for the baby. That’s when we go and take the baby away. If she discovers us and fight us, we will knock her out, and if necessary, kill her. Is that clear?”
Everybody nodded that they understood what they would do, and they began their hike to rob the baby.
Ben walked silently along Richard and the others. This was his first, but certainly, not his last kidnap. He was apprehensive. He was hoping that they would not have to resort to violence. If there were to be violence, he would have, yet another secret to keep from Annie. However, he felt that it was his right to take this baby. The baby will be better off with him and Annie. This woman did not deserve the child. She was a murderer. And more than anything else, he was one of the good guys.
To be continued……
