Thanks! I just got a notice from fanfiction.com. I just read it. It's absolutely fab! I have to say, my favorite part of the whole story was when she tried to kill Ben and as punishment, he made her dig the hole. It showed a different side to Ben, and it also showed how much he loved her. I think this scenario would fit in perfectly with the show as an explanation for the huge hole in the middle of the jungle. lol. I know John must be wondering where the hell that hole came from. |

I'm glad you like that part! When I was writing it I was thinking it was maybe a bit overboard or dramatic but I kept t because that is how I see Ben. In my mind, and in my Ben stories, Ben can do anything, terrible horrible things, be a complete bastard but you can't help but love him. I plan on working more on the story this week since I don't have work so hopefully I'll get more up soon. If you want to read some other Ben/OC fics I have three more posted under my name on fanfiction. |

Okay, awesome, I'll def check it out . And I don't think the scene with the hole was overboard. It was very "Ben". I just don't think M'Lynn should've forgave him so easily since he tried to kill her and all. Then again, he was only returning the favor since she almost killed him too. lol. |

I'm reading 'Taken' at the moment. It's quite wonderful. I'll try to finish it all by tonight. It's great. I love Izzi. And I love her name. You have a wonderful choice of names, Mel. You should write Lost fiction books; a lot of people would love to buy and read them. They're really in depth and detailed, like a real author. I see the same writing styles in "Angel" and "Charmed" fiction books that I always buy and read. =)

I love revisiting familiar people and events through M'Lynn's eyes - it's really refreshing. I'll be checking out your other Fan fiction as well. I just finished "Asylum" as well. It was excellent. I never thought Helena could fall for Mikhail, but anything's possible when you're sucked into a TV show. lol. =) It was great as well. =] "Taken" was breathtakingly beautiful. |

I'm glad you liked Taken. It's probably my favorite Ben fic so far. Also, the longest. lol I actually wrote Asylum this past summer when I was on a big Mikhail/Andrew Divoff binge. I fell in love with him! But then I still had Ben in the story and it's hard to turn away from Ben. I didn't even know who Helena would end up with until I wrote that next to last chapter. But come on, it's Ben, how could she not end up with him? |

Thanks so much, luv!! I really love your writing, too. You should take Julie's advice and write a Lost novel! My problem is, I get ideas for random scenes, but I really struggle with putting them together into a coherent storyline. Everyone says to just write, and get it down even if it's not perfect. So I'm brainstorming a bit; I'll get there soon. Maybe I'll write Emma's history, before she got roped into the rp scene! |
