Anyway, I'm a novelist (written three unpublished novels...) and actor (Local stage performances) ^ Cool! I'd love to perform on stage too, but I've never been brave enough to audition.. I was part of a youth theater program years ago but that's all.. Well, never say never (Ben docet ;D)

Kia, you really should audition. For my first few auditions I got sick right before. lol. But after a while it gets easier, and it's not the end of the world if you don't get casted. Now, I think auditioning is one of the best parts. There's a wonderful adrenaline rush I get whenever I start to perform. It's really exciting, and after a few moments I come back down and really fall into the character.
Magnolia, well they are a trilology about Purgatory. I know on the surface it sounds like a cliche topic. It's really a witty and eccentric comedy about finding meaning and purpose after death. I really like character and dialogue driven novels, so what my writing lack in detail, it makes up for in very extensive characterization. I'm working on getting them published, though it has taken me a lot of time to edit.

I shall practice a lot on my part before going lol but you're right: it's not the end of the world if I don't get casted. ;D I shall keep it in mind coz i tend to be a little too emotional sometimes Magnolia, well they are a trilology about Purgatory. Plz when you manage to get them published let me know and I'll go buy them right away

Kia and Magnolia, thank you so much for your support. I really appreciate it. I sure hope that I get the edit done soon. It's becoming a little tedious. And Kia, good luck. I really hope you enjoy yourself in acting. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. ^_^

I think the time has come for me to update my answer to this thread When I first came here and introduced myself to you, I was a pretty happy Med Student, but now things changed radically. As some of you already know, I've been through a very bad period of my life and these experiences made me realize that I was pursuing the wrong goal. So now I'm studying Foreign Languages [English and German] at the University, on my way to be an interpreter or a translator. Just wanted you to know - no more medicine around me LoLz xD *hugs everybody*

I just love the diversity in this forum!! I am wrapping up my Master's degree in History at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. I just successfully defended my thesis on early Irish and Welsh literary history and I am looking forward to graduating in May! ;D Next steps? Exploring History Ph.D. programs in New England, Ireland, Wales and England. I really want to get overseas, if my funding and private life allows me to!

Well I have done different things 2 years ago I was a graphic artist, and webdesign for a cookbook publisher then the sold the business. I then worked with my uncle for a couple months cutting trees until the winter came I was no longer needed as not enough work for the amount of people.
Now I do computer repair for people who need it around here and I do some graphic work for commission to get by for now. I am currently using my free time (I got tons of it) to work on my portfolio to become a environment artist for game development. Basically I will be creating the objects in the game world. So yeppers thats what I do.
