This poll is about the Chatango instant chat on the main page. Read the post below and if you have an opinion, please vote for what you would prefer in the poll. This is option one, what the instant chat looks like now:  This is option two, what a clickable banner would look like:  With option one, the actual Chatango on the main page, the upside is that you don't have to click to open it. The downside is that, since it's a flash object, for some people it may slow the board down. With option two, the clickable banner, the upside is that it's a small graphic (.bmp) so it should be quick to load. Clicking on it will take you to this page, the MEFB's full size Chatango: mefb.chatango.com/The downside is that you have to click to open it; it's not automatically loading with the board, so it's less convenient. If you have a preference, please vote. |

We have 2 votes to leave the Chatango chat itself on the main page and 7 votes to use a clickable banner instead.
No one has voted in ages. Are we to assume that the people who use the chat system the most are completely happy with the clickable banner?
If you care, please vote. I will leave everything as is for a week (June 20). After that, we will make the changes.

All the stuff in the header slows my computer down so much. :[ I removed the Twitter. Hopefully, that will help a bit. Birdy, did that help? Do I still have to remove the Chattango? The LOST counter is a bmp. It should not slow the computer down. |

I would prefer it to be left on the main site, simply because it's easier for me (as I am somewhat a creature of habit).

I would prefer the sign-in form be at the top of the page. When the page loads Chatango is all you see of the board. I have to scroll down to sign in and on my computer Chatango does sometimes make scrolling down difficult. I've come here less since it's been there. It's just easier to go to another Lost board in the time I have than to come here.
Wish there was some way to automatically sign in.

There is a way of automatically signing in: When you see this screen:  enter your name and password, and then pull down the arrow in the "Stay logged in for:" box and you'll see the word "Forever"  Next time that you log in, you will not have to put your name and password in. You will be logged in automatically. |
