Hehehe, Huggies.... My roommate (talk about nightmares) had her right leg amputated due to an infection. I was admitted with an infection in the right leg. (When she was admitted after me, I thought that some mysterious powers, be they be the religious kind or the destiny kind, were trying to scare me.) Well, anyway, my roommate decided that she was not going to work to go to the bathroom, so she was wearing huggies (adult kind) diapers. (She could have gone to the bathroom on her own, as she walked in to the hospital with her prosthesis. Her leg was amputated a year ago.) |

Oh, sounds like a dreadful experience all in all, Edith. It's amazing how much misery we put ourselves through, thinking we can soldier on, when in fact, we shouldn't. I did the same thing with my arthritis and when I finally did get some help I wondered why I put up with it for so long.
Wishing you a speedy recovery, but be good to yourself and take it easy!!!
