I've seen screencaps for "The Making of the Soul Guardian Video" and the Police reenforcement training film and have been wondering are these videos online? If there are screencaps, they had to have come from a video of some kind. I'd also like to see the "Soul Guardian" music video he directed.

Bill Ectric, who gave me the pictures, is trying to find the videos.

Thanks, but I didn't mean the "Use Of Force" one, I meant the other one. www.michaelemerson.net/coppermine/thumbnails.php?album=65Wow, he looks so young! And the "Use of Force" video shocked me; I thought I was watching a video from the 70's or 80's; I couldn't believe it was from the early 90's. It reminded me of the Dharma Initiative videos. (watches again) ;D (curses the narrator's voice-over blocking Michael's dialogue and the actor constantly shouting/screaming)

Does it have a title? I'm wondering whether the library would have the old police training videos.

No, this post was done by Shannon (flummery). He actually mentions that he was the director of the films. There is also another one wherein the same pictures that are in the gallery were posted here.

Finally found it! You all remember Andre Jesequel? His intro post can be seen here (click). I'll copy it below for those who didn't see... "Mike worked for me quite a bit back in the 1990's on films for the federal Law Enforcement training Center. He was aw some then and he is aw some now. I always used him in bad guy roles because he has that great spooky look. I produced and directed a lot of Bureau of Prisons training films with him in which he played an inmate. There is this one scene in which he played a suicidal inmate. He is being talked out of killing himself by the prison psychiatrist. He is fantastic in that scene and as creepy and spooky as his characters on the Practice and Lost. He is truely a great actor and we here who worked with him are excited to see that his career has really taken off." Well, Mr. Jesequel has some behind-the-scenes photos from those days (these are from 1987; Michael worked with them from '87-'95 when he left for NY), and he's given me permission to post them! Without further ado... Michael with a lady named Martha Michael and Curtis CredelYou gotta love this one. The man standing with his hands in his pockets, watching the rehearsal, is the director, Andre himself. (I know you'll all be wondering about seeing the actual films, but Andre says they're still a little sensitive. You're free to hope that they become less sensitive someday. [/IMG])
Is that Michael with the hat on and denim jacket? They're sensitive about showing it? Well, of course it'll look a bit silly now, because film has changed over the years, but it'd be an educating lesson for future directors, actors, ect. on what not to do and a history lesson of what filmmaking was like back in the day. And they still worked hard on it.

Wow, snivellusfriend, you did your research. I went ahead and sent him an e-mail. Hopefully, I will get a reply.
And in answer to your question, no I don't think that the person with the denim pants and hat is Michael. I think that he was one of the directors.

I have one more question: What state was the training video filmed in? I'm thinking that maybe the libraries in that state might have it.
