I'm actually a bit concerned that Jack hasn't screwed up much yet this year. Aside from winking at Ben and "shooting" Locke in the premiere, he's not his usual bossy self yet. He actually got the drop on Miles in "Confirmed Dead", he actually didn't butt heads with Sayid when he took charge last week, he willingly sent Kate to Locke instead of foolishly telling her she shouldn't go. And when he said Locke doesn't know what he's doing last night, Locke almost seemed to prove him right.
Even future Jack is relatively sane this season, and isn't bragging too much that he made the right call to leave the island. Hell, even though he appeared in two flashforwards, he hasn't had an episode to himself so far this year- that is not like him at all. Where's our overbearing Jack?
Maybe they're just saving a whole season's worth of dumb Jack for when he eventually gets his own episode this season.

Hummm I was thinking the same thing. What happen to Jack bein "Jack". He seems a little too sweet to me. But thats just me.

Just wait, you'll see. We know it's only a matter of time (but which kind?) before we see Oxycontin Jack. it's all there waiting for the right moment to really muck things up.
Oh, and thanks, Magnolia. Glad you like the banner. I was bannerless for a long while, because one wasn't presenting itself to me and then along comes "Confirmed Dead".
