But he defended Henry when Sayid was beating him, and made Ben's surgery! xDD I don't like him much, but I can't hate him. I used to like Jack too but the beating he gave him in epi 22 was totally unnecessary. I think Jack losing the plot. Hopefully Ben can escape and give him a hiding he wont forget. i also like to see Jacks face when he realises Ben was right about the boat |

Yeah and he picked on a man hobbling along with a cane, it's not like Ben was going to fight back physically (just wait for the mental fight back to happen). Go pick on Sawyer next time Jack and see how far you get, ya big thug. Ohhh I like this thread - a great place to get rid of all the pent up Jack anger  <---Jack I wonder if there is a Matthew Fox board somewhere with an I Hate Ben thread ;D |

Well, if I had in front of me the man that ordered the execution of three of my friends, I would do the same.  I do agree with you when you say he's losing the plot. And I really hope we see that moment of "oh, no, you were right"  |

If the flash forward was any indication, it will definently come- whether Ben will be able to see Jack realize what he did in person is another issue[meaning if Ben'll be in the same place, not meaning he'll be dead by then]

But Jack was a bit schizo towards him in the beginning- the first ep he saved him from Sayid, then in the next one he told off Locke when he asked what they'd do with him long term and told him they'd just keep him there[then again, he'll use any excuse to pick a fight with Locke]And don't forget, he only did Ben's surgery after almost killing him. Jack doesn't know his own mind. He's so needy and obsessed with being everyone's hero that he can't figure out what he wants anymore... Kate? Juliet? Locke? Brain? Fists? Whatever, dude...  TOOOOOO much frickin testosterone :-) And every time he hurts Ben, Ben comes out looking stronger and Jack less and less in control. Probably what Ben wanted in the first place. After all, if he can whup Sawyer's ass, what's he doing letting himself get whupped by the Wussmeister? |

I have to point out that Ben wasn't looking much stronger tied to the tree and gettting knocked out in the finale. Besides, were it not for Jack, Ben would be dead/have died anyway. Ok, my two cents worth in, I'll leave you guys to your Jack-ranting in peace now. (Don't add me to the list, btw) |
