Hi everybody,
OK, I'm not going to write a very lengthy post, but I feel it's the time to introduce myself a bit. I guess I should have done it before, but I just feel now is a great time :-).
Me: I'm alllllmost a graduate student in engineering. I am taking 4 classes this summer and after that, I'll only have one internship to do, and then 2 classes and I'LL BE DONE!!! I just can't wait. I will turn 29 in just a little more than a week, so honestly I should have that done quite a while ago, but I got sick a couple of times, gave up my studies and started again. It took a while, but I'm almost there.
I was born in Montreal, QC, Canada, so my first language is actually French with English coming a very close second :-). I lived in Montreal all my life and intend to die here... I just love this place and this country. I'm not saying I won't spend lengthy times overseas, though. I love to travel (a lot!). I spend 10 months in Paris last year while in a student exchange program and wow, that must have been just the most exciting year of my whole life. It's was such an amazing experience.
Talking about Paris, it brings me to another point... you'll like it. I was living in the "Cité internationale de Paris", in the "Maison des étudiants Canadiens"..... the Canadian house, if you want. So I had my room there along with many other canadiens and people from all around the world, really. I had a friend who was hooked on Lost, and of course she convinced me to watch it. So when it was raining outside, we had a projector, we would stuff one of our laptops in it and project Lost on the wall of our rooms, sitting on our beds. So I watched all the first three seasons of Lost in Paris with friends, and it's one of my best souvenir .
How I got here, well... i just fell in love with the show, and let's get honest, Michael is by far the most talented actor on it. So I started to dig on imdb, on google, everywhere, to just try to get to know him better and maybe find a movie or two with him. I was quite shocked when I realized most of those movies are so hard to find! But thanks to some dedicated people, I "lost" hours and hours on youtube watching extracts of all of his movies and interviews. I downloaded Saw but I never really got around to watching it, cause anyway I saw each Michael's bits a thousand times, lol. I even ordered "Jumping of Bridges" cause I was desesperate to find it.
OK, talk about a not-lengthy post. I would go on and on, but I have to go for now. I'm enjoying the stay here on the boards. The thing I can't get over it is that after waiting 2 weeks for the finale, we're going to have to wait 8 months for next season! Argh. I just wish Michael scores a main role in a movie to get us all waiting. And I think if he makes a play in NYC, I'm going to be there. I have a friend to visit in the Big Apple anyway ;D
Thanks for the site and the forums!
