I can't say that I found the Jate condo-love baby-raising story "luminous and startlingly touching," but I'll agree that Terry and Michael's acting is above standard

Well, Bocke rocks! ;D
A Hungarian writer said, that Foxy is just a setout character. I don't like him, but if somebody says anything wrong about the show or the actors, I'll kick...

i thnk all the actors on lost are pretty good in there own right. and i guess some of them have only had the same set of emotions to work with. perhaps some of them havent had a chance to shine and show their best

I think that's true. It's one of the paradoxes, I suppose of being in the lead role esp. in a popular series. You don't get a lot of range. I think Foxy does as well as he can under the circumstances but in those scenes where he's allowed to break out, he really knocks 'em down. Evy doesn't have to do anything more than smile, tilt her head and semi-strip and she's met her requirements for her role.

With the shortened seasons and so many characters on board now, there's a little less room for Lost actors to get showcase episodes now. Michael of course is an exception. Terry is too, but he hasn't had a huge amount to do this season aside from Bocke scenes, not even in Cabin Fever. Matthew has also been underused a lot this year aside from "Something Nice Back Home", while people like Evie and Harold Perrineau only go so far as their limited characters. Josh has been impressive in the second half but hasn't got an episode to himself, Elizabeth Mitchell is getting far less knockout material than last year, Emilie de Ravin seems to be heading out for a while, and Daniel dae Kim may or may not be going soon. Other than Michael, the main actors that have really had the biggest showcases this year are Jorge Garcia[The Beginning of the End], Henry Ian Cusick[The Constant], Yunjin Kim[Ji Yeon and last week's flashforward]and Naveen Andrews[The Economist]

Totally agree Edith. Michael owns the show now. IMO there is no way it could continue without Ben.

Yeah, more and more people are coming around to our side. In Lostpedia, people might talk about how much they hate the character, but they defntly DO NOT want him to go away. He and Vincent are not to be touched.

He's definitely the reason I started watching the show again! I had kind of lost interest in Lost (pardon the pun) after the 1st season, but one episode with Henry Gale brought me right back into obsession. That led to "who is this guy?" and brought me here. Nice to see others recognize his amazing talent, regardless of whether they "like" Ben or not.
