Wow! I think that it's gonna mess up my schedule that night as well! And my dad watches too and it may mess his tv schedule as well!

I have class the next morning, but it's not an early one. However, a lot of my friends have class early in the morning and they are not happy about this. I wonder if this is going to hurt the ratings or help the ratings

Hm - I´ve got an idea - in Germany shows air after 10 p.m. if the content is only for viewers > 16...

Actually, i think it's a really great move. shows can get away with more when they are on 10 p.m. hopefully, we can get better and edgier storylines. Maybe Ben will even get a love scene! And, the reason they moved it is because of American Idol. the results show is always at 9 pm on Wednesdays, so ABC wanted to get Lost out of the way. AI gets about 30+ milliion viewers a week!!

How lucky you are! I'm sure that the tv channels of your countries are more responsible with Lost. This spanish channel started airing Lost without any kind of previous advert, and when they finished the 1st season they took more than one year to air the second... It's at 10pm here, by the way. I don't think it's a bad time. But when they air three episodes each night, it ends too late. My worst fear is that due to the ultimate tv channel wars, this channel may move Lost to a secondary channel or to very late hours. They don't care about this show because it's not a "superhit"

I think it's a great move. I love both Lost and Criminal Minds but I would watch Lost whenever it was on and unfortunately would have to miss Criminal Minds. Now that I can watch both I'm excited. I like both shows because they can play with your mind.
I like Lost because of it's complexity and how it can really mess with you and what you're expecting is not what you're gonna get. The writers like to step out of the box which I think too many shows seem to forget. Also, the characters are the main focus and we get to see why each person acts and feels the way they do through flashbacks.
With Criminal Minds, I like how they dive into a person's personality and really get under their skin. I'm intrigued about the "whys" on which a person does things. Especially those who do some things against another person which might cause us to to flinch and ask "why would someone do that." Kinda warped and crazy, but I like to dig deep like that.

Lost has beening airing at 10pm for the whole of Seasons 2 and 3 so far in the UK. I have to say it suits me better. Especially during S2 as I had other commitments that night, but was able to get back just in time for Lost.
I would assume that most people who can't watch it at that time would record it. Are the powers that be able to monitor that when they count the ratings?

Not sure what I think. Like katm0855, I'm a Criminal Minds fan, so I'm happy that I don't have to keep taping CM downstairs and Lost upstairs, and watch CM another day. But this means 3 solid hours of TV for me on Wednesdays...CM at 9, Lost at 10, Daily Show and Colbert Report at 11. I may have to start watching the Daily Show + Colbert Report reruns instead of their original airings at 11.

I like Criminal Minds, but why did they have to put it against Medium? I hate American Idol. You know, I just have to get Tivo or something.
