Hi everyone! My name is Leigh, I'm 39 years old, and I live in Chesapeake, Virginia. That's on the east coast of the U.S., near Norfolk and Virginia Beach. I work as an accountant (yawn, but I love numbers and it pays the bills) and my hobbies include photography, scrapbooking, and traveling as much as I can. Planning a trip up through New England to Nova Scotia a little later this summer, if anyone is from there I'd love any tips you could share.  I'm joining the Michael Emerson appreciation party a little late, but better late than never, right? I first noticed him on Lost and he's the reason I'm back to being addicted to the show. I love the way he plays Ben, making the man such an enigma. He and Locke are the center of the show as far as I'm concerned. I'm slowly working my way through his other works. My Tivo is set to record anything he's in. So far I've caught most of his L&O appearances and a couple of movies. "Saw" is the next movie in my Netflix queue. I have to say I'm more impressed with each new role I see. I'm looking forward to reading the posts on here. I've lurked for a little while, and you all seem very interesting and friendly. Hi, I'm new here also. I'm from Boston, MA. I learned about this site and michaelemerson.net from a co-worker who is also on this fan board. We both love Michael and his work. I'm obsessed with LOST and Michael is the reason to watch. I've just recently started to google and youtube him. This fan board is great and michaelemerson.net is quite the fan site. I cant believe how extensive the photo gallery is. All the bio info, and media is great too. I didn't even know Michael was married or did so many plays in the past until I found these sites. Can't wait to learn more about him. I hope he goes back to doing some stage work after LOST is done and maybe does a play or two in Boston.

Leigh, you will love Nova Scotia - I drove up there last June, and absolutely fell in love. If you can, take a detour through PEI - it's indescribable!! We're planning to stay a couple/few days on PEI. Read a couple of Fodor's guides and decided we couldn't miss it. We'll be driving my convertible from Virginia all the way up to PEI and back, should be a lot of fun, and I can't wait to use my new DSLR camera - heard the scenery is spectacular.
