Jo, lol :-) I think it`s something recent because Whoppi sais "Smocky monster", isn`t she?

Raksha, in this case, what did Whoopi say? it was not Smocky Monster? I ask because don`t sure I understand everything they said.

Or, may be this monster lives in other film or show?

That show was a comedy series that was on in 2003. Whoppi played a hotel owner. The heavy-set man was suing Whoppi because his bed broke under him. He claimed that Whoppi was a negligent owner. The truth was that the man was heavy and that's why the bed broke under him. Michael played a shady lawyer who was on the fat man's side.

Since our judicial system uses as its basis the results of other cases, the lawyers were quoting litigations that were working in their favor. Michael mentioned a case (fictitious) that allowed certain evidences from not being mentioned in court and Whoppi's lawyer quoted a case (again fictitious) that favored Whoppi's side. And they went back and forth with their quotes. Whoppi's line was "Godzilla and the Smog Monster."

The Smog Monster is [[Hedorah]]:

Hedorah, also known as the Smog Monster, is a fictional creature from the 1971 film Godzilla vs. Hedorah (titled Godzilla vs the Smog Monster in the United States). The monster was named for hedoro, the Japanese word for sludge, vomit, slime, or chemical ooze.

That video always cracks me up, even when I think of, only because of the way Whoopi delivers the lines. No one delivers a comic line better than her, IMO. I'm sure it's puzzling to folks not familiar with the American justice system.

I have seen him in a trailers trough Youtube, always so sharp (do you say sharp in English?)
