We're now in striking distance of the Emmys, as there's less a month and exactly four weeks left to go till Emmy night. Soon there'll be new Michael in a tux pictures, perhaps a new Emmy to brag about- and at the very least, something to break the crushing hiatus boredom for a few days.

Now we're down to three weeks away till the third chapter of the "Michael at the Emmys" trilogy- which like most trilogies, started with a bang[Michael's 2001 Emmy]and had a less successful sequel[Michael's loss last year]

Entertainment Weekly has a section in this week's issue where they list their website readers pick for the Emmys, and their staff's picks. The website readers picked Michael, but the EW staff picked Ted Danson instead. At the Gold Derby website, most of their pundits picked Ted Danson too with only two picking Michael, at goldderby.latimes.com/awards_goldderby/2008/09/emmys-predict-n.html Now that we're actually really close to the Emmys, I have to try harder not to get those nagging little doubts in my head that the voters might not get it done. |
