While searching on Youtube, I found this video interview of Michael. It was taken from a site called zmonline, and I have no idea how long ago this was taped. From www.youtube.com/watch?v=LM5MNnzW24E

Thanks for sharing. I don't understand some parts. Can you tell me (with easier words than Michael) his answer to the question if he believes in God or in aliens or monsters or something else? It's difficult for me to understand him. Thanks a lot.

My understanding is that he said he believes in the magic of words or that words have magic. I was very pleased to hear that. Of course, it makes sense that an actor would have an appreciation for the power of words. Writers and actors know that nothing ever happens (wars, revolutions, marriages, plays or forums — anything) unless something is written or spoken first. I really like the idea that he gave magical quality or status.

A great interview! Aww. (how the couple from New Zealand told Michael they didn't like his role on 'Lost') My friend's parents were religious and didn't like us pretending to be witches, (They didn't want their daughters to do anything bad to anyone) so they told them they couldn't play that, anymore; Hence, I couldn't either (because I'd be alone and that wouldn't have been fun without my friends). I was very surprised, bewieldered and hurt because I didn't understand what we'd done wrong, especially since I'd come up with the idea; We were chanting in serious voices and one of my friends ended the chant with a cackle, but we were only pretending we had the power to control the weather, to stop it from raining. I could only come up with that they were afraid that we were going to bring bad luck to my friends or their family. I've always loved actors, how their performances seemed so believable, so real and awe-inspiring.

The full picture is better; You can see the masks up close! I'm guessing that he might like the Balinese theatre philosophy,(that when someone puts on a mask, they aren't acting as something or someone else; They are the person, animal, etc.) as opposed to following the Balinese Hinduism religion because according to this website: In this interview, Michael said he believed in "being haunted." So, masks are places for spirits to rest. www.thehealthyvillage.com/home-and-garden/balinese-mask-spiritual-force-behind.html
