What a great find foldslinus!
And now we know more about him: he doesn't drink coffee and he likes crosswords.
(Just like me...how weird...)

Here's a direct link: www.drblogstein.com/2008/08/carrie-preston-jenn-sterger-and-john-taglieri.htmlI don't drink coffee, either. I feel as though it makes my blood pressure soar and I'm already tense and worry enough as it is. I don't do the crossword much...too difficult...I'm too young to know what they're talking about; I usually only know a few. I like number puzzles, better; I can solve those. Aww. I'm afraid of everyone's eyes because they're "the window to the soul." I fear that people look at me and can read me, easily, and know how to hurt me or about my past; I'm afraid to see that knowledge in their eyes, especially if they appear to be kind.

Oh Oh -it's one of those interviews where the guy asks more questions about Michael than her. At least half the interview is about Michael. LOL about waking up in bed in the middle of the night to find Michael looking at her. I can only wish. Does he read the paper on the toilet? What a strange question!

Oh, he sounds like an interviewer who's trying to be edgy and push things. I liked her comeback. Just bring things back to the center and carry on. From what she describes, she's more "ordinary" in terms of her tastes and mannerism. I think she described him as formal and old-fashioned. Wonder if he was always that way or cultivated it. It wouldn't be the most typical behavior of someone from Iowa, but not out the question, though.

Prolly, although I grew up in South Dakota and from time to time, I'd meet someone who was a bit more cultivated. I think they strove to try to establish and maintain some decorum amidst the teeming ferals (of which, I must admit, I was part). I admired them for their knowledge and poise, none of which I had.
Well, I'm a mix. I LOVE LOVE LOVE coffee (just savored a cup of Obsidian) but I love crosswords as well. I loved that movie about crossword people. I'm not nearly as skilled, but I admire such people.

Awesome find!
How she descirbed Mike is how I picture him. Mild mannered, polite and well-read. I like the fact that he can discuss anything with anybody.
Sadly, I don't have HBO so I won't get to see True Blood tomorrow. The books the show is based off of are some of my favorites and Carrie is one of my favorite actresses so I'm hoping the iTunes will have the episodes after they air. Fingers crossed!

I think they strove to try to establish and maintain some decorum amidst the teeming ferals (of which, I must admit, I was part). I admired them for their knowledge and poise, none of which I had. Michael's given me hope that there are other people out there, like him. I was very surprised and relieved that I wasn't the only person who took school seriously, that Michael worked hard, too; I kind of worried that I was the only weird person who did because students talked about it as though it was amazing, unbelievable that I'd be able to earn good grades in class. It wasn't easy; It was just hard work. I kind of envied them, though, because they seemed very confident, happy people and didn't worry about school, seemed to have a lot of friends and had grown up in the same city for their entire childhood; I didn't. ...I loved that movie about crossword people. I'm not nearly as skilled, but I admire such people. The one with Jon Stewert? That movie is called, "Wordplay;" It shows celebrities trying to solve Will Shortz' New York Times' crossword. I saw bits of it when it aired a few times on PBS. Maybe they'll show it again; They do repeat shows. ...Sadly, I don't have HBO so I won't get to see True Blood tomorrow. I don't have cable, either, so I'm hoping to see clips of Carrie's role online.
