Same here!! Lots of ppl are like "Ben is human after all" and "Ben is so cute" and stuff...
And as you said, when Ben starts to making up his plans, that image of vulnerable and nice Ben will be forgotten...

My friends don't actually know. I don't mention it to them. I mention Lost and Family Guy, but never Michael in paticular. 'Cos .... the topic never comes up.

Hey guys
Right now my crush on Michael is like my guilty secret lol! If my sis-in-law knew (who is a major LOST fan ans got me watching it) she would DIE! I think she has suspicions but thinks that ultimately I adore him as a charcter which was true until failry recently...No one else I know really knows who Michael is, actually there are some work friends who watch LOST and they too would DIE if they knew I spent hours day dreaming about Michael...
I LOVE YOU GUYS TO BITS!

I'm "out" to all my friends about my love of Michael, and consequently my loyalty to Team Ben. Many of them didn't get it because they don't see me physically attracted to someone like Michael. That's when I have to explain it to them (eyes, smile, mouth, spiky hair, eyes, um, eyes, perfect hands, impeccably groomed/dressed, eyes, etc.). Then I talk about his passion for his work, his love of words and the written and spoken art of storytelling, his gentleness, his erudition, his keen wit and sense of humor, etc. THEN they get it. The first reaction I got--and this was the same from at least 5 people--was this: "What in the world would you do with a little guy like that. You'd eat him alive and spit him out in under a week." Which obviously made me question the way in which my friends see me. lmao  I mean, I'm only 5'4" and while extroverted and rather gregarious, I'm not a man-eater. . .well, not anymore. LOL I think my ethnicity--half Cajun, half Sicilian--garners me a certain reputation, the old joke being, "She knows how to cook for a man, make love to him and kick his butt." All, true but still. . .  As to understanding my love of the series and Ben in particular, they all know my writing too well to even wonder. I am the queen of dark, twisted, red-herring-filled, plot upon plot upon plots with shocker endings. And none of my characters are heroes. Lost was custom made to make me fall in love! LOL |

Same here... every person that know that i completely love Michael are like  cause he isn't my type, but after talking to them about his talents (cause he has many) they kinda understand. One of my sisters was shocked when i told her about my Michael obsession, but know she's eyeing him in a different light and she is kinda starting to love him too! |

I'm twenty and recently told my parents (who are the same age as Michael) that I had a crush on Ben and they were okay with it. Turns out my mom thinks Ben is cute too. She likes him when he's on his date with Juliet with the ham. I didn't say how long I have had a crush on Ben and exactly how much I obsess over him. None of my friends watch Lost so I don't know how they would react. There are a lot of ham jokes that go on in my house now  |

My two best friends, who also watch LOST, totally understands my crush I haven't told my other friends about Michael because they doesn’t even know LOST (it's not on Danish TV) or him. I haven't told my parents either, because Michael is older than both my mom and dad. My parents just think that I really like the character Ben, even though I sometimes get the feeling that they actually do know about my crush |
