bobdoc, do you get the royalties regardless of which vendor we buy your book from? Does it make any difference whether I buy from amazon or directly from iUniverse, for instance? Just want to make sure you get your due credit!

I get royalties no matter where it is bought, but I heard I get a little big more when the book is bought at Barnes and Noble. Still, I get a few bucks from wherever it is bought.

Groovy - Barnes & Noble it is, then!! EDIT: I'm assuming that this is the corrected version for sale on B&N, is that right??

I would assume so- I found the book for sale on these other sites on the same day that the revised version went back live on iUniverse. Also, I managed to contact Dark UFO himself and get the book mentioned on the merchandise section of the blog, at lostmerchandise.blogspot.com/2008/10/lost-episode-guide-for-others.html One snide commenter just said "Or just watch the episodes~" in response.

Being published, you need to get a tough skin. Snide remarks is the least of your worries.

Go right ahead and do that, since Dark's entry also has the Amazon link. Thank you for your help.

Well, friends of mine often say they'd like to get into Lost, but the sheer amount of backstory is too daunting. So there's obviously a market for a book like yours. But people will always play amateur critic!

You could help that market out by suggesting to those friends of yours that my book can help them make sense of those backstories.

My revised five free copies finally came today. Now my promotional plans for the book can really kick off. One of the books is going right to the Preston and Steve show once I get an envelope and stamps, and print out a letter to them to go along with it.
