No, Ben will make the season but one must consider that characters have a life ARC so Ben must die eventually. Look for it at the end of this season or at the beginning of the 2007-2008 season. Just a fan Hey! You seem pretty sure of what you say!  Pardon my doubts but, do you have any reasons for saying that Ben will survive, or is it just your opinion? |

His storyline, I think.
Maybe it's just because the character was meant to be a brief one in the beginning, or because other main characters have been killed off without hesitation, or because of Ben's surgery (and as Pez commented before, how the "universe has a way of course-correcting" and perhaps Ben's fate is just waiting to have a chance to take hold again), but I don't get the sense that Ben's going to be around as long as some other characters. I hope I'm wrong, because, you know, it's Michael, but still...you gotta wonder how long he's going to be around, 'cause we just don't know for sure.

I think he will stick around for a while, since the public seems to love him as a bad guy. I hope he lives. He adds so much flavor to the story.

The survivors were never meant to be on that island (going by this life arc theory)....that means Desmond would never have let the "sky turn purple" . That means that Ben would have had access to medical stuff and be able to leave the island to go to a hospital. Ben would have been ok even if Jack never crashed there. It was never planned that Ben should die. |
