Dying on LOST means nothing. You are still needed to play your character in a flashback.

I would love to see more scenes with Captain Gault. I liked the character. Hopefully we will find out more about him in a flashback. Same for Keamy - true, he was an a**hole, but one you love to hate ;D. Plus, I like to know, if killing Alex was Keamys idea or an order from Widmore. And I would love to see Libby and Mr. Eko again- and Charlie of course

Is there any changes of seeing Alex flashbacks? I'd love to see them, specially Ben with young Alex...

Richard as a regular cast member - how cool is that? I would really love that. He is an intersting character and Nestor is a great actor. inia: we might see Alex in a flashback - from Ben, Juliet or Richard for example. I think, we havn't seen the last of her

And now he's in the real world... Phoar! ;D PS: Sorry I've been away so long, it was a sacrifice I did in order to avoid spoilers! Re-hello to everyone!

My friend J found these awesome theories about LOST and sent them to me. My thought are in bold. ***The same noise and light was seen when Desmond turned the key as when Ben turned the winch. Desmond may have moved the island, although Ben said that whoever moves the island could never come back. Not to disagree with your friend ;D but: Turning the wheel and using the failsafe key might not have had the same effect on the person who used it. Desmond's consciousness traveled in time whereas Ben's body traveled. Haven't the writers said there was a reason why the number pushers hadn't used the failsafe key before to close down the Swan once and for all? Having the island move is a good reason! But how did both Widmores find the island so quickly after the move? Moving the island was suppose to keep it safe from Widmore where last time it moved it made it more easily traced. Or in the end did the EM discharge from Desmond's move make the new location easy to find? This time no EM discharge. I wonder if "the incident" didn't cause the island to move too. That would explain why no one came to replace the button pushers. No one could find Dharma including Widmore who was running it (my supposition). No reinforcements for Dharma when it was under attack. Later maybe Widmore was watching for an EM pulse just like Penny. He knew sooner or later the failsafe key would be used and when it was the island would move to a traceable location. That was how he found the island this time. This is all theory of course. I love it when all the little pieces start to fall together. I thought Charlotte was looking in Tunsia because news of the bear find had leaked. At least that is what she inferred. I think Charlotte was working for Widmore at the time. Or Paik. Or both. But it occurred to me too that the bears might have been used to turn wheels in cold places. Maybe there is another wheel that allows time travel. Now that we know Alpert doesn't use Dharma technology to time travel I think we can safely assume there is another cold cave (room) with a wheel that allows you to travel through time or just distance (why Tom was off island). The other cave might be more accessible to the bears. Dharma might have been experimenting with what "settings" took you where. Teach the bears to push the wheel (is this what they did in the cages?) and then see where they go. Tunsia must be one of the locations "on" the wheel. Ben had been there before. This cave would be Ben's magic box. Imagine how furious the native's leaders must have been when Dharma invaded these places. They already had access to the smoke monster via the cave entrance at the barracks. All of the native's sacred ancient places taken over by these people who had no respect or right to use them. (is that how the natives got by the sonic fence during the Purge? they went under via the cave?) I'd get pretty angry too. I think he meant to say "but in reality the animal has gone forward in time". He didn't disappear-he traveled to the future. After all that is what he said he was going to do -shift the test subject forward in time. Based on how the water looked when the island "moved" I think it was sent to a new time and location. It could be in an infinite number of places in time and space. No wonder Ben is confident Widmore can't find it! Since the entrance to the cave was closed off by Dharma I think we can assume no one has been able to get into the cave to move the island. Ben had to blow up the vault to reach it. So the island has not moved since Dharma bricked it up. At least through that means.

I don't know if this might happened, but I'm thinking Ben might be able to go back if he stows away in the coffin. And my guess it happened before with Jack's father coffin? I'm just taking a wild guess cause Jack's father coffin was empty, and I can see Ben trying to get back to the Island that way?
