ABC has distributed the first two episodes of the season to a select few lucky critics and major bloggers. Judging by their responses, we are in for something big. I didn't actually read all of their reactions of course, though they were pretty careful to avoid spoilers. But since I let myself be spoiled on the entire S3 finale, I am not taking any more chances- though now it's gonna be a lot harder to avoid spoilers. Among the bloggers who got the first two eps were the people at Zap2it. I already posted some teasers that they gave out at blog.zap2it.com/korbitv/2008/12/ive-seen-the-fi.html with additional reactions on their TV talk section next to it. Give Me My Remote's Kath got the screeners too and raved about them, at www.givememyremote.comAnd finally, of course, Doc Arzt got some copies and also raved about them, at www.docarzt.com/lost/lost-501-because-you-left-502-the-lie-my-review/So, we have an even longer 23 days of waiting left for what looks to be eps that will live up to the hype. I still don't know how much Ben will be in them, so maybe if there isn't that much, they may be a letdown to some of you. But I can't go investigating too deep into that now.

Argh, I so want to read them and not read them. I miss LOST, but don't want to spoil myself. I enjoyed LOST so much more when I don't know what to expect.

The Dark UFO spoiler board posted a few more advance reviews, from the likes of TV Guide and Doc Jensen. They were raves too. So the longest 22 days ever are now even longer- thank you very much, advance reviewers.
The only thing I feel safe to read and report is this bit from Doc Jensen's review.

The website IGN posted their own advanced reviews at tv.ign.com/index/reviews.html giving "Because You Left" a 9.1 score out of 10, and "The Lie" a 7.8. Most of the advance reviews seem to also say that the first episode of the Jan 21 premiere doubleheader will be better than the second.

Maybe it's just me, but the link above does not seem to work. The website it goes to says "We're sorry, but we were unable to find the page you requested"...

That's because I had put a coma next to the link. It should work now.

I couldn't resist reading all these reviews and... I don't feel they gave away too many spoilers (whew!) but there were enough mentions of Ben that I cannot wait for the season premier! I'm now obsessively checking my TiVo to make sure it's scheduled to record the show no matter what. ;D
Thanks for sharing these links.
