In the runup to every new season or run, Michael is ususally one of the busiest actors of all in promoting the show. We had a hard time keeping up with all the new interviews he gave before S4. Now, as S5 gets closer, it'll be time to be on the lookout for new Michael material again. This first new Michael interview is a print one from TV Guide, as Dark UFO posted an image of it at spoilerslost.blogspot.com/2009/01/tv-guide-scans.html They also posted a brief bit from Josh Holloway, and reposted one of Michael's promo photos. The Michael interview is below.

Ben got sent forward 10 months in time to Tunisia after turning the wheel- he did ask the Tunisian clerk in SOTTC to confirm that it was October 2005, and he turned the wheel in the very beginning of 2005. I wonder where Michael got two lost years from.

About the end of interview... Maybe, I'm not right.. But sometimes I think, Michael wants to see Ben died any way at the ending of Lost. It break my heart I didn't get that at all. He said that he thinks that Ben will go on till the end of the show. Whether he dies at the end or not, it's anybody's guesses.

I wonder where Michael got two lost years from. You are correct and Michael is wrong. Then again, he did say in an interview that he gets confused between all the scenes that he is filmed in and the actual show.

Perhaps he could use a copy of my book, since the writers aren't always available to talk to him and clear these things up.

Michael actually gave hope that Ben will stick around to the end. That helps me, since I still worry about whether Ben really can come back to the island and what might happen to him if he doesn't return with the Oceanic 6 and Locke. But they've already gotten through about 10-11 episodes of filming S5 and he seems to still be there.
