Dark UFO posted this scan from the latest TV Guide, as Sterling Beaumon, who plays young Ben, teases some upcoming major Ben-related developments. Oh my a four episode arc?!! SQUEAL. I guess it is going to be little Ben we see. I figure the "bad event" probably has something to do with Annie being harmed in some way. I reallly dont want Charlotte to be Annie..... it will destroy all my fangirl B/Annie love That is bollocks. Annie didn't have red hair, she is a brunette. The theory going around is that Miles is Mr. Candle's son, and recent episodes have confirmed that Miles has been on the island before (with getting the nose-bleeds), so I'd bet on that one. Thanks again Bobdoc. How do you find this stuff so quickly? |

I get it from the Dark UFO site, which I should stop going to so frequently.
One additional reason Charlotte can't be Annie is that Annie was at least 10 years old when we saw her in MBTC, which took place in the 70's. Therefore in 2004, when Charlotte arrived on the island, Annie would be almost 40 years old. And Charlotte certainly does not look 40 years old- in fact, Rebecca Mader is only 30.
Ben's "Her name is Charlotte Lewis!" speech in Confirmed Dead listed Charlotte as being born in 1979, so she would be 25 years old now. Even if that's one of Ben's lies, Ben's lies are usually a lot more airtight.

That is another great point. Sterling sure made it easy to spot the false information. ;D
When I heard the island gang are going to time-travel to the Dharma days, the idea popped into my head that perhaps Ben met Juliet when he was a kid... and it might be a reason why he find her three years before the crash. Maybe he developed a fixation on her from something that happened then. She does kinda look like his mother after all...
