Hello! Wow, you used to be a New Yorker? Did you visit NYC?Would a nature-lover, like myself, dislike it there? (I've been imagining that there's smog and no fresh air because there are so many cars, buildings and not a lot of trees, except in Central Park.)

Avatars and signatures: First, you have to register for a free account on a picture-hosting website, like Photobucket.com, imageshack.com, etc. Then, you can upload your picture/pictures onto it. After that, you copy the url codes, come back to this site, sign onto your screenname, and at the top of the screen, click on 'Profile,' then 'Modify Profile,' then go to where it says, 'avatar' and paste your url there (it should something like like (without spaces): http://photobucket. com/albums/ numbers.jpg

For avatars, image codes, [ IMG ] and [ /IMG ] (without spaces; I had to post them with spaces in order for them to show up) aren't needed on each end of the url, (You do need to put them around your signature url, though) and you also have to type how large your avatar picture is...it can't be larger than 100 pixels by 100 pixels. You don't need to type in the dimensions for your signature, but we have our own limit here, on the board: The largest size your signature can be is 200 pixels (length) by 600 pixels (width).

oh - I forgot to answer your questions about NY city. I had been to the city 3 or 4 times. I can't remember, hehe. I had been to Manhattan a few times w/ my college Illustrator's Guild. I wandered museums and Central Park. Caught some games at Yankee stadium and a wedding shower in the bronx. It's not smoggy feeling at all. If I lived there I wouldn't have a car. I grew up first in the country next to a dairy farm and rode horses and did 4-H growing up. Then around 7th grade moved to the burbs of Rochester, NY.

Question - in my other forum, when we write on a thread we get an e-mail letting us know there is a response. I thought I had it set here as well, but appears not. Can you help with that??? I'm off to wander some more and get some yummy pics you guys have here.

4-H is program in various parts of the US that mostly deal w/ farming. It's boyscouts/girlscouts only cooler in my book. It's co-ed and there are things from community service to raising farm animals for show, making clothes and all sorts of things. I did Horses growing up. 4-H pledge "I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, and my health to better living for my club, my community, my country, and my world."

ok, I guess this will make me learn the site better BEtter take the kids out before they kill me.............

As Snivellusfriend explained, we currently do not have this fascility, but as mods/ admins we are always looking to improve this board where we can and help members.

If you have any suggestions (for example things that occur at other fan boards that you feel may be of use/ benefit to members here) feel free to let us admins know
