Yes, I think It's a combination of timetable and personality. The producers and directors, etc, are very lucky to have an actor like him.

I think that's true. I think he makes himself more amenable. I have heard, and it's just a rumor, that Matthew Fox doesn't sign autographs. On the one hand, I can understand that, and who knows he maybe has a more freakish fan following or a more relentless fan following.

I agree Nuala. It's a look he's had on his face since the Peabody Awards. I noticed it in the photos from Taking of Pelham 123, and the premiere of True Blood. The Peabody's were the worst because his eyes were actually swollen and red-rimmed as if he'd been ill or crying. I know I've heard rumors, but wouldn't want to perpetuate them if they're false, but something is definitely missing from his eyes and it's more than just his smile.  |

I couldn't find the interview at the moment, but I remember Michael or Carrie saying that there are too many award shows in the entertainment business, that they like doing their work: acting, directing, etc.

It's true, Foxy has a terrible reputation, even on Oahu, for being very unfriendly. The fact that Michael appreciates his fans and his awards is one reason why I admire him so much. He is the consummate gentleman, and every bit as handsome as Foxy but in a very different, and much more interesting, way. In other words, Michael is the total package!! |
