“This is not the life I wanted for you, Ben.”An early morning Twitter post from local social media star Russ (a.k.a. @parkrat) revealed the tell-tale presence of production trailers near Kahala Mall. It was a modest, interior shoot, so there were few details. But those few details are still worth pondering.
A visiting fan followed Russ’ clue to a residential street just off Kilauea Ave. All the magic was happening inside a plain looking home. But two actors were seen coming and going from the set: Michael Emerson (Ben) and Jon Gries (Roger Linus, Ben’s father). Later in the day, Tania Raymonde (Alex) was spotted.
There’s no telling exactly where and when the scene was set, but the visiting fan was able to overhear one tantalizing line of dialogue for Roger Linus, as referenced by the script supervisor:
“This is not the life I wanted for you, Ben.”
Whatever Ben’s been up to, mixing with students and teachers in a high school, it sounds like he’s still disappointing his dad. There's also an update on Alex and Ben: As night fell, Tania Raymonde (Alex) arrived. And her brief scene took place in front of the house. She rings the doorbell, and Ben answers. They talk for a few moments, with Alex saying something like, “You’re the best,” and then leaves. Ben lingers at the door for a second, then closes it. Is Alex still Ben’s daughter? If so, is she not living with Ben? Whatever the case, his family situation doesn’t look like it’s any simpler than it was on the island. Hmm, not sure. I think it's more likely Hurley. But as soon as I find out, if it really is a Richard-cenetric, I'm staying off the spoilers. Or trying to, at least. I think that epi's gonna be epic, and I want to know Richard's origins from watching it. |

I posted the ep 6:07 title in another thread at the spoiler section, since I thought it was important enough to get its own thread.
Those at Dark UFO also think 6:09 could be for Hurley, or even for Ilana, if not Richard. I did hear that Damon and Carlton are writing an episode themselves soon after 6:07, so a Richard-centric one would be important enough for them to write solo. |

Personally though, I think it's a Hurley one. I doubt Richard's Latino, even if Nestor is. |

In news for ep 6:08, Dark UFO confirmed the episode title to be "Recon" And judging from the poll options over the episode title at Dark UFO, it will be a Sawyer-centric show. If that's true, they'd be going back to the S1 order of centrics, since Sawyer had the eighth centric episode of S1. They briefly broke that order to give Ben ep 6:07, since Charlie had ep 1:07 and couldn't have ep 6:07 since he's dead. Then if Ben getting the seventh episode instead of Charlie is an indication, Sayid won't get ep 6:09 because he'll be dead by then, which wouldn't be a shock. |
