Only real competition I see is the Shat and John Slattery. damn Shat - he's already won for Boston Legal I've never seen Breaking Bad

And maybe an Emmy made out of clay. Only real competition I see is the Shat and John Slattery. LOVE this idea!! ;D What about a little Ben action figure holding an emmy?! I will absolutely *die* if The Shat wins again. He's an utterly ridiculous man, and his talent is so shallow compared to Michael.

I'm a bit worried about William Hurt becoming the second man from "Damages" to steal Michael's Emmy. However, although Zelko Ivanek did steal it, he was a deserving winner otherwise. Hurt is far less deserving, and he only got nominated because he's a big name, and he got to square off with Glenn Close again. He's probably the least deserving of Michael's competition, but because he's the big name, and because Damages was pretty well liked by the Emmys last year, I worry about him.

I agree with Doc. I fear competition from Hurt mainly because of his name/reputation as a big screen success. And as much as I love THE Shat, he is a parody of himself and not a serious actor by any stretch of the imagination. I have seen and enjoyed his work on Boston Legal, but comparing his work/skill set to Michael's is like comparing Carrie to Meryl Streep. The only way I see Bill winning over Michael is as a nod to his lifetime/body of work. . .which is really not the point of the award. I've never wanted an actor to win an award as badly as I want Michael to win this one.

He better win, he needs to get recognition for his portrayal of Ben- even those who "hate" Ben respect Michael's wonderful acting ability
