Some expected casting news was made officially on E!, at www.eonline.com/uberblog/watch_with_kristin/b136889_how_many_episodes_of_lost_dominic.htmlProduction on Lost season six doesn't begin for another few weeks, but thanks to Comic-Con, we're starting to get a sense of the new season, including which castmembers might be back to cavort in those alternate timelines the producers teased.
Which brings us to Dominic Monaghan's beloved Charlie. His appearance on stage as the grand finale of Lost's panel all but confirmed that Mr. Pace would be back for the final season of Lost. But is it true? And if so, how much might we see of him? Here's what we're hearing...
Sources tell us exclusively that, yes, Dom's deal to reappear on Lost is done and that the original castmember is set to appear in three episodes in season six.
No word yet on the answer to the big question: Is Charlie alive? We'll have to wait until Lost returns to ABC in January 2010 to find out.

It´s great news...I like him! But I hope, that season 6 won´t be one big restart back to season 1! Because if yes...what about the 5 seasons, which we saw? It will be like nothing happened? No way, dude!

No way, dude! I reckon they're gonna use alternate timelines or something. Maybe each person sees what it would have been like if they hadn't been on the plane ... or something like that. Something to do with alternate timelines, anyways.

Elizabeth Mitchell talks www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32350434/ns/entertainment-access_hollywood/updated 4:13 p.m. ET, Sun., Aug 9, 2009
PASADENA, Calif. -- - Elizabeth Mitchell’s days on “Lost” aren’t over just yet.
In the closing seconds of the Season 5 finale of the ABC show, Mitchell’s character, Juliet, appeared to detonate an atomic bomb in an attempt to reboot the island’s timeline.
But at Saturday’s ABC Television Critics Association panel in Pasadena, Calif., to promote her new show, the retooled alien invasion drama “V,” Mitchell said she’s got a lot of filming still left to do as “Lost’s” Juliet.
“I will actually be back on ‘Lost.’ I am going to be traveling to Hawaii more than once,” she said of the show’s production location. “It did seem I kaboomed myself with a bomb. I don’t think it’s going to be that way. So we’ll see how that plays out.”
However, she wouldn’t say what her appearance would mean.
“I can’t say whether I’m dead or not,” she said. “But as in all things in ‘Lost,’ it will be fairly tricky.”
In the meantime, Mitchell will star in “V” alongside Scott Wolf and Morena Baccarin, beginning Nov. 3.
And she won’t be the only “Lost” star to pull double duty in the coming months.
Ian Somerhalder, who stars on The CW’s new fall series “Vampire Diaries,” confirmed to Access Hollywood at the San Diego Comic-Con that he would return as Boone. And Dominic Monaghan, who played Charlie, has been heavily rumored for a return despite his role on ABC’s new drama “FlashForward.”
Both Boone and Charlie died on previous seasons of the show but, like a number of characters, have made mysterious appearances since.
As for Monaghan, he said after Saturday’s TCA panel for “FlashForward” that he would enjoy returning — but couldn’t promise it.
“I don’t know,” he said when asked if he’d be back. “I had a great time on that show. I love the character. It’s a great character and it’s a character I enjoyed playing. It was a great time in my life and it’s the last season so if they wanted to do it it’s their last chance.”
The sixth and final season of “Lost” begins in early 2010

I never did like Charlie, to be honest Yeah, me either... In fact I deslike him... when Ethan "killed" him I was almost glad... but it would be interesting to see him again, either dead or alive... It´s great news...I like him! But I hope, that season 6 won´t be one big restart back to season 1! Because if yes...what about the 5 seasons, which we saw? It will be like nothing happened? Something to do with alternate timelines, anyways. Interesting Belle... I'm anxious about all this, cause I don't want to be like S1 and everybody is alive... I don't mind watching Boone again, cause he's gorgeous, but if everyone is alive, then it mean that Ana Lucia is too and I just can't stand that thought!!!!!!
