I just loved seeing all the cast & crew standing up for Michael behind him. Even J.J. was there. Nice. hoooray!!! I wish I could surf the net all day and scope out pictures. But I have to leave in 15 minutes. Bugger. I'm so happy for him I feel teary!!! Shall we send a congratulations card from the board? |

awwww my goodness I just watched his speech and now I *am* teary!!! It was so sweet and intelligent and humble and.... I am SO in love right now. Woke up my boyfriend with my scream when I read the news online.  |

I've been ELATED all night and this morning. I couldn't sleep last night!! SO humble and sweet and deserving. Carrie looked GORGEOUS!! Michael looked fine as well as the rest of the crew (that I've seen from links, thanks guys) I was jumping up and down in my living room whisper screaming as to not disturb my sleeping family  I too was ready for a let down. I thought, gosh, it's so hard, that competition. But when they read his name my jaw hit the floor. Exquisite bliss. |

Nice article, Bob. This morning I cued my DVR recording to the spot where he won (about 2:18 into the show) and watched it again with slo-mo, freeze frame and in HD. Nice. Caught the licking of the lips and that little look of shock just after he stood up. I completely missed the handshake with the guy — who was that man? — and I got a kick out of the fact that he took the steps two at a time. But I'm no longer buying that line of his that he's a sedentary, exercise-averse person. Such a person doesn't take steps two at a time, especially under the hot glare of broadcast attention. I'm sure "Lost" upped his physical condition, but still someone who doesn't "do exercise" doesn't charge up steps. That's a clue that he is very fit and young for his age, not just in appearance.

Man I wish I could be all day surfing for pics and interviews but I really need to get work done and the internet is such a temptation!
Yay for Michael this award should have been given to him a very long time ago!
I wish Carrie would have a bigger role in True Blood so she can have the chance to get one too, she's such a terrific actress!
